He literally said it's not going to happen again. Did you even read it? I guess I'll throw my oar in too. I literally don't care about it, the company has to make money. I bought one and that's all I'm going to buy. Sure, it's shitty and they should've been way cheaper. But honestly you get all the skins if you really want to since there's no duplicates. What's to say you HAVE to get them all at once or keep buying them at all. I realise that people want specific skins and it shouldn't have been done this way, but even if they were single skins they would've been around the same price. I really hate it when people jump on the hate bangwagon without actually thinking about why first. I suppose I should ignore it but it's extremely difficult to do.
You have the same mindset as everybody else who spends 9k gems to get all the skins - "i dont care lol it's optional stop hating dood". I care beause they added another rng box into the game when we already have enough rng stuff. They didnt even bother putting a mount skin as a reward for achievement hunt or anything similar to that. They need to make money and water is wet. This is not how you make money in a friendly way to your customers, in the way which actually keeps the players playing the game you know. It's not going to happen again, okay, so what? It was already done, they won't change the existing box and on top of that the statement itself feels disconnected from reality and not genuine at all. They put the rng box in being fully aware of current state of the industry(Forza, CoD WWII, SW:BF2[which blew up even more recently] are filled with the boxes) and nobody likes those lootboxes. 'without thinking about why', what do you mean 'why'? Money, obviously. But there are much, much, MUCH better ways in making money off new mount skins than making 30 of them and shoving into an rng box. General public seems to be so gald to throw their money to Anet for a chance to get that ultra-mega-flashy skin they want. Some people would much prefer less flashy skins, of course not everybody is hunting for Stardust Griffon. I don't think skins are bad, some of them are just over the top and make me feel depressed when they were so concerned about keeping up to the standard of game's art design. MO sad that it rewards designers for their work on mount skins, which is absolute trash reason. Make your artists come up with better skins than tweaked default pattern and sell them individually for a much higher price.
I keep feeling I need to repeat myself but I'd be way more inclined to have accepted the pack despite its cost if I had the content to justify consistently playing on upwards of the 6 characters it'd take to use them all, but I fundamentally despise the fact that the content is basically an all-or-nothing deal. Nowhere else have I seen a grab bag with this much variety being sold without the contents available separately (at an obvious markup or having the option to resell contents you don't care for) so you can just get what you want instead of rolling the dice as it stands the expansion has so little visible secondary content that I just can't bring myself to spend spare time rounding out some alts' elite specs despite being interested in the new subclasses
use Proofs from World vs World to fully unlock all of your elite specializations, then give up on PoF map completion on alts because it is pointless
yeah PoF maps are good to get hero points from but actually completing them seems pointless - I'd rather complete a vanilla or HoT map in that time to get better rewards.

I get that it's supposed to hype itself up as the continuation of this long-running story but when it finally got to a big reveal it told us less than the actual post-PoF cinematic did already, except for the fact they're probably not gonna recycle shatterer
plz no Braham OR make him get his ass kicked so hard he comes back full of tears while Commander goes turbo sass on him.
plz no Braham OR make him get his ass kicked so hard he comes back full of tears while Commander goes turbo sass on him.
he's probably on ice til we're approaching a new expansion [sp]taking bets: it's a BIG MYSTERY that somebody's meddling in your affairs to put dragons back to sleep, then a shocking reveal timed similarly to "LAZARUS WAS BALTHAZAR????", in which Braham reveals himself to be a DRAGON HUNTER, and has secretly been the zealous antagonist! because, you know, the storytelling so far clearly hasn't been turning him into an angsty batman wannabe vigilante[/sp]
what a terrible trailer. The only good part of it is last five seconds. Did they make a trailer for the wrong thng?
They apparently did this before with LWS3, where there was almost no new stuff in the Teaser, then the next trailer had more new stuff.

Is it filled with glass shards or something?
They grabbed really pointy rocks.
Got one hell of a throwing arm, too.
the 9,000 range; it's the skill you get when the legendary doppelganger in the Elon Riverlands floats you up extremely high in the air (if you're a Ranger? pretty sure I had Trail of Knives)
what a terrible trailer. Daybreak Spoiler [sp]Commander should have said "Cut the jibber jabber" instead of "I'm in a hurry" when talking to Koss. I'm disappointed SMH.[/sp]
The first PoF leak suggested the next expansion would take place in Blood Legion homelands, actually. Daybreak was great, I'm very interested in seeing what's next. Anet should make Taimi's head smaller, by the way. She's now adult sized, but her proportions are the same, she looks like the Brain. Maybe it's on purpose...
Their new servers are hot garbage. Now my ping constantly jumps between 120ms and 210ms while pre-PoF it was stable 88-92ms. Oh and delicious 600ms lagspikes during LS4 story instances.
They should make her head progressively smaller as the season continues, so by the end of it she's got a pinhead.
head stays the same size but her body gets increasingly buff, with the LS culminating in her fistfighting braham on top of jormag
head stays the same size but her body gets increasingly buff, with the LS culminating in her fistfighting braham on top of jormag
doesn't she have some sort of degenerative disease tho that makes her frail and unable to walk long distances, hence why she always brings Scruffy along
doesn't she have some sort of degenerative disease tho that makes her frail and unable to walk long distances, hence why she always brings Scruffy along
Yes she does, I think it's some form of a brittle bone disease, albeit a weakened version. Not bad enough she needs to walk around in bubble wrap just to go get a snack, but bad enough to where she needs help getting around long distances and with her adventurous lifestyle. I feel for her, I do, being born with a clubbed foot myself and not being able to walk very far without being in pain. I'm frankly amazed they haven't given her a cute little hover chair to get around.
doesn't she have some sort of degenerative disease tho that makes her frail and unable to walk long distances, hence why she always brings Scruffy along
ok first she fistfights her boneitus
ok first she fistfights her boneitus
She doesn't fist fight, she flings the equivalent of squirrel farts at her enemies (outside of Scruffy).
Bought the Grenth outfit thinking that the headpiece portion was separately removeable from the outfit, since I had seen people running around wear the headpiece alone. Then I found out that the headpiece has to be bought separately. Not necessarily complaining since the whole of the Grenth outfit is sick as fuck, but if you already have the Grenth hood as a separate outfit piece, why not allow it to be removeable if you purchase the whole outfit? Why make it a separate purchasable entity. Like wtf :why:

Doesn't work with shoulders/gloves if you were hoping to get the hood to use with your actual gear, yeah that kinda sucks
