I got it first try just by randomly dodging around as a core Thief, but anything that evades or makes you invulnerable also works for the achievement. Mist Form, Blurred Frenzy, Vault, Distortion...

champion's rest looks sick, I love how it's the only place that isn't in ruins. can't wait to see videos of the inside
you can lure enemies into the trebuchets and they will be destroyed but unrepairable
I kinda wish there was a 2v2 automated tournament available, because all my friends suck at PvP and enjoy world boss farming for some reason.
I suppose that should also come bundled with a new queue for the 2v2 gamemode, though. It's frustrating to get into when you have to join 25 player servers to play it.

Hello everyone I just came back and for some reason I never focused my mind on the fact that this game is seriously processor hungry, now I havent ever checked my temperature prior to this until I decided to have Speccy open just to check on reinstallation and I saw the ridiculous temperatures. (Poor processor ; _ ;).
However I remember having to run the game at low settings for it to not toast my processor. Anyone know what settings I can reduce and which I can remove to not make my processor a baking oven? Thanks.
My GPU has sub 60 temperatures, so it can be utilized well and my case is at 40 C during load. But my Processor gets toasty with this game.
Would love you guys's help so I can start getting back into the game again!

If these settings are how it should be like, then it's good! It seems post-processing/shadows anything to do with processor intensive tasks really stinks for Guild Wars 2. That same goes for Antialiasing too. So I turned it down too. Running at sub 70 now! So that's pretty comfortable.

You should finish it anyway because it's neat.
There is a section in Orr but more so the fights in it are fun and you get a free ascended weapon for the effort.

There's almost definitely going to be an expansion reveal with this episode release. Not only do we have LWS2 to go by, but Mike confirmed the time between this last episode and the expansion is going to be [i]much[/i] shorter. If they don't reveal it soon, they're gonna have very little time to generate hype, beta-test eg.

When I was cleaning my room I found the old gw1 manuals, the 100+ page ones. Man the effort they put into them compared to the usual manuals (and the lack of manuals nowadays) blew me away.
gw1 is so confusing at first it absolutely needs manuals
is it possible to return to this game after not playing for 2 years? i honestly never finished the base story the first time i took a break, and i remember being turned off the first time i tried to start playing again because they had introduced the living story and i had missed the first 3 with no way to go back and play them. the statue of rytlock i have on my dresser is making me feel guilty, but after an expansion and the end of living story season 3 coming soon, a lack of friends who want to play, and a lack of will on my part to do the dungeons and raids, will i have missed too much to be able to get back into it?
I found the new/current character building system (they've changed it completely at least twice since launch) completely confusing when I started again some time ago, and I haven't touched it aside from unlocking signets because who actually uses other than the main 5 skills bluh.
I do have a 24 level Sylvari Thief now though.
Are the old living stories playable anyway?

All but Scarlet's living stories are playable, yes. But you will need to pay for all but the latest living world.
