Hi guys! I'm going to start playing this again. How do I train my Exalted mastery? I have it activated but I have no idea how to train it.
You just earn experience, once you have a mastery chosen then your XP bar becomes the progress towards learning that mastery. You only earn XP towards the mastery of the region your in. So maguuma masteries cant be contributed to when in the old areas. All the expansion and recent living story maps are listed as being maguuman. When you've got enough XP then you spend the mastery points earn't from the story or achievements on finally unlocking them
Oh alright, I thought I had to search the map for exalted signs to level up the mastery. Thanks!
Oh alright, I thought I had to search the map for exalted signs to level up the mastery. Thanks!
Nah, but make sure you're in the Magumma jungle at least while getting XP cause if you're in "core tyria" maps, you'll just be leveling those masteries.
I really can't wait for mounts. It always hurts to play classes with no movement speed signets, you either move slow as hell or sacrifice traits or runes for it. With mounts it will finally be possible to play pure dps builds and not worry about moving around the open world.
I haven't played in ages, but how are condition builds in basic PvE content and to a lesser extent dungeons(if those are still ran on the regular)? I remember for a time I wanted to find the most bleed heavy class and play that with a super condition build cause I liked the way bleed damage ticks happened
Just so you guys know, if you buy PoF on Amazon, you won't get the code to get the 80 boost and account inventory slot right away. Looks like they hold the codes until launch because you can cancel the order. Not a huge deal, but I thought I'd let you all know.

I really wish GW2 has class quests or stories like FFXIV does.
I really wish GW2 has class quests or stories like FFXIV does.
On one side that will be pretty cool but on the other side having 1/3 of skill/traits locked behind a quest line is a really weak concept for GW2. Remember the trainwreck when they locked traits behind open word events?
I didnt necessarily mean having skills or traits being locked behind the quests, moreso just a storyline to flesh out classes. Also I had completely forgotten about traits being locked behind events lol. I remember that there were some that I never unlocked even up until they changed it. [editline]7th August 2017[/editline] Like for Guardians, they use a lot of magic that is very much based on Human beliefs. Is there some sort of Guardian Order that teaches the arts of protection to new initiates? How did it start? I was just thinking about this because I just got my second Guardian to 80 and she's charr and I've given both my guardians silvery steel, blue, and gold/brass colour schemes because in my head thats just the colour scheme of whatever Guardian covenant there is, and it made me kinda wish the game gave a bit more of an explanation for certain classes. [editline]7th August 2017[/editline] Heres my new guardian. I followed the trend of my other Charr being based off of real big cats and shes based off of a clouded leopard
How does one make a fuckload of gold? I, FINALLY, after so many years of putting it off, got grandmaster in tailor, and now want to make some nice ascended gear, but everything basically requires cured hardened leather, which means an epic fuckload of gold.

Like... I remember literally vendoring stacks of leather back when I was PvPing a lot pre-HoT because the TP price was less than vendor. If only I saved it...
256 gems to buy my missing season 3 stories, why can't I buy less than 800 gems Goddamnit
256 gems to buy my missing season 3 stories, why can't I buy less than 800 gems Goddamnit
Can always put an exact exchange in Golds2Gems
Can always put an exact exchange in Golds2Gems
Just sold quite literally everything my account had to sell and I had JUST enough gold to buy the gems, I now have 1g 23s on my account
Easing back into things after a ~2 month break after raids burnout. $30 was a good choice for the price especially with seemingly the same amount of content as HoT. I still feel like mounts don't really fit with this game and I'm not excited to see all the dumb glowing mount skins on the cash shop.
hey nerds, I don't know when this showed up but figures it's a good reminder for those who wanted to catch up, living story seasons 2 and 3 unlocks are now available for a discount. still like $12 worth of gems a pop, but decent stuff if you were considering it anyways
Is lightning hammer still good on ele? Long before HoT when I played it was my favorite skill and it had a super meta damage build from what I remember, but then I think it got nerfed and staff got buffed? Idk but is it viable again? Or is it as strong as it used to be?
I still feel like mounts don't really fit with this game and I'm not excited to see all the dumb glowing mount skins on the cash shop.
The only thing I'm worried about is seeing large mounts in every city crowding the place up I feel like it'll really ruin the immersion for me

I remember the old build calling for zerk armor, that or something with a touch of condi would definitely improve it
The only thing I'm worried about is seeing large mounts in every city crowding the place up I feel like it'll really ruin the immersion for me
It might be like FFXIV where you can't ride your mounts in cities.
It might be like FFXIV where you can't ride your mounts in cities.
Exactly. No point in riding mounts in cities because for that purpose we already have +33% movement speed buff from Pact Commander mastery.
Exactly. No point in riding mounts in cities because for that purpose we already have +33% movement speed buff from Pact Commander mastery.
Not to mention way points every two feet.
I feel like it'll really ruin the immersion for me
Immersion has already been completely destroyed for me for years now. Ever since auras started being a thing and shinier cash shop items started trickling in, many players look like shitty glowsticks. And to think back in 2012/2013 the most we all complained about everybody wearing the CoF armor with bits of fire.
So where can I petition Anet to give Charr the option to run on their hind legs in this xpac?
So where can I petition Anet to give Charr the option to run on their hind legs in this xpac?
New mount, Charr.
Against my better judgement I used my 80 boost to make a revenant because they look fun and a charr themed elite spec in PoF seems awesome.
Against my better judgement I used my 80 boost to make a revenant because they look fun and a charr themed elite spec in PoF seems awesome.
Revenant is fun, just a little under-tuned at the moment. New e-spec is apparently a glass cannon, though, so that should be neat.
