I played a bit of Witcher 3 to pass the time, on the second to last quest and halfway through level 33 trying to get to level 34 to use endgame armour. Did 3 side quests in 3 hours and only got enough xp to get 90% of the way there, pretty annoying, especially since one particularly long winded quest gave me fuck all xp
I really should have finished that game by now, really thought I'd be able to but oh well here comes another one

Not sure if I want to take those numbers serious though, I don't follow Game Informer or Polygon so I have no idea if their reviews are actually good/accurate or not, IGN can be dick heads when it comes to reviews since money can be thrown at them so easily to shit out a good review, and Gamespot are decent but I don't take their reviews that seriously.
That's a pretty damn wide range of scores. I'll have to see for myself.
I knew that release time had to be messed up. I guess it'll just come out sometime in the next few hours?
The scores are about what I expected, to be honest. The game didn't really look like a "survival game", it just has some of the trappings of it. It would have been cool if there was a separate hardcore mode where you actually had to eat/drink/sleep. Having to scavenge for gas is a nice touch, I don't see that in many games.
Well the driver is out for NVidia cards anyway, I'm downloading that now so the delay isn't too bad then.

This game has been in development for years, originally on the last gen consoles then retooled and spent years in development on current gen consoles. This is a game made my avalanche that in no way ties into the movie it would have been released alongside the movie if it was. The reviews range from meh to great with not many reviews released....

Seems like the soul of the game didn't survive the long development time. Still, it's probably be enjoyable for Mad Max fans who just want more Mad Max, I'm glad there's a AAA game now since otherwise you'd have Fury Road and then nothing else apart from the original movies from decades ago

If it's about the same as Just Cause 2 (fun basic gameplay + lots of things to do, no matter how repetitive) then I am satisfied. A good story is no requirement for a game that ties me hours to the screen.
