I think Die Rolla is my favorite car body in the game. The muscle cars are really cool, don't get me wrong, but there's something especially badass about a luxury car like a Rolls Royce being turned into a rusted out murder wagon like all the other cars in the post apocalypse.

I'm thinking that's the point. You get a mediocre (heh) desert landscape for your first half to roam around in and get to know the mechanics, and then in the second half you have way more cliffs and rocky walls and obstacles, putting your driving skills to the test and preparing you for [sp]races and later driving levels[/sp]

The story mission where you get the Thunderpoon is a big turning point of the game, because it makes you a force to be reckoned with in cars combat
Today I destroyed two convoys with ease and killed the top dog that held the car colour I wanted. My Magnum Opus is slowly getting there

has anyone else noticed that if you see a rat on the ground, you can stomp it, and eat it?

Or that if you knock a car way into the air where birds air, where it then explodes, suddenly there's a bunch of food on the ground?

I got my V8 last night and blew through 6k of saved scrap getting it up to level 4, and holy shit balls this car is amazing.

Also finally beat all the top dogs and all the convoys.

Also this game is amazing because sometimes you'll just pull over to go to what looks to be a small scrap deposit on the map, and it turns out it's a large camp with 20+ dudes in it laid out in a really complex manner with a hidden top dog down below that doesn't reward you with anything, but is still a top dog

This game is amazing because it's SO surprising what you find in the desert and it's always gorgeous. And honestly, this game runs better than it has any right to. I'm flying down the high way and the world is dead and beautiful at the same time and it's just running so buttery smooth.

I am honestly surprised at how fucking amazing this game is. I thought it was gonna be good but my expectations were shattered. Everything about it is just so much fun, it's insanely atmospheric, and except for the fact that max is kind of a tool in the game, it feels like it could just be another of the movies.

I really wish they'd let you use more than just the base five and ripper as bodies, I really want to use the flamergamer's body as my magnum opus. That 240z is kickass. Either that or the scrapulance's.

An update: I wasn't playing with my settings set to maximum performance, so I'd expect a slight boost when I do so. I had most things set to balanced/battery saver and didn't realize. (New laptop.)

This game is pretty awesome. I got it for PS4 (Wasn't sure if my PC would run it) but reading about how well optimized it is, I'll probably pick it up on PC at a later date.

I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and kept my preorder; this game is made for screenshots and videos because of all the crazy shit that can happen. My younger brother has gotten into it just as much and the coolest thing I've seen is from one of his sessions where harpooned a driver and pulled him out. The driver just flings in a gigantic arc straight into the ground.

My only big wish is that the game was harder, but I'm still in the starter area.
