I wondered why they called it the "Big Nothing" so I went to go look for myself. Finished it. Not sure what I expected but the ending [sp]is shit. Max is an arsehole![/sp]
So there is a Perpetual Motion Machine or something in the magnum opus when you have no fuel. No wonder the world is messed up.
While we already said this before, the combat on foot really is the weakest point of Mad Max and, since I'm now questing in the second half of the game and the fights are starting to get crowded, the whole thing is becoming a bit annoying. Mostly, I have two issues with it: - If you fight people near a wall on in an otherwise closed environment, the camera tends to zoom on Max a bit too much, making see counter opportunities coming nearly impossible - Enemies have a nasty tendency to attack you even as you are performing finishers or countering another enemy attack, cancelling whatever you are doing by hitting you. While this could be considered realistic to some degree, it's prone to generate frustration

The whole 'Max is taking revenge so he doesn't care about killing innocent people' shtick goes directly against his (extremely limited) character development.[/sp]

Feels like they were told they had to finish it while they were 40% done and just rushed it.[/sp]
They told me it was infinitely generated!

This may have already been covered by other Aussies in the thread, but are any of you guys massively irritated by Chumbuckets mispronunciation of Dinki-Di? I can accept that maybe he's only read it from the dogfood cans, but if half the wasteland still have Australian accents surely that terminology would have made it down to them right?

Deenkee-dee? Din-kee-dee?
How are you supposed to pronounce it? Deenkee-dee? Din-kee-dee?
The "di" is pronounced "die"
The "di" is pronounced "die"
Well that sounds stupid, just saying

Whereabouts do I find Furnace? I've been rolling with Shovel Face for a bit too long now. Also, minor story spoilers, how far along am I when [sp]I've just been told how to get the Big Chief in Gastown[/sp]? I feel like things might start to pick up and I don't want to accidentally bullrush my way into the endgame without fixing up my car a whole lot.

Look at each scrap spot (possibly camps as well, can't remember) to see if it has a car body. If you can't find one that has a car body you will either have to drive around to find it (look for roads going nowhere?) or use a scavenger crew upgrade for whoever's base.
I totally forgot: What was up with [sp]the dog's head on the human body when Max was unconcious? Does it have a greater meaning?[/sp]

It seems Warner Bros. devs are more focused on making the game work than completing the story in time, which I honestly think is better since I'd rather have a working game with little story than a broken one with lots of it.

It's been said before, but releasing it on the same day as Phantom Pain was just dumb.
Man, the ending was rather dissapointing. [sp]Why did you have to kill Chumbucket you cunt, Max[/sp] Also. The top dog fights is some of the most boring boss fights I've had in quite a while. They're all the same. [editline]10th September 2015[/editline] Will convoys respawn after the story is over? It's gonna be rather boring and empty otherwise.
this isn't my video but what is with this glitch, bug, i've seen it on others videos and it happened to me once
Forget about that shit, the car in the background was balanced on the front somehow.

Got the game yesterday, surprisingly good. My old teacher worked on the lighting in the game and man does it look amazing. Is there a classic Mad Max car tho? from 1 or Road warrior.

Also, (post-endgame spoilers) [sp]you unlock the Interceptor at the end of the game[/sp] Sorry I fucked up the spoiler for 20 minutes.
Putting armour on a car is seeming a bit pointless to me. Even with a V8, it feels like it slows you down so much that you stop being able to cause ramming damage, even with a big ram. Having just the largest ram and no armour feels way more effective.

Dinki-Di is still hanging on.
This game is catching way more shit than it deserves. I've seen so many people smack-talking it and calling it utter shit, but I honestly think it's stronger than most games of it's type. The free-roamy tower-climby type, that is. I'd give it a solid 8.
