I like this game if only for the fact I can turn Max into Big Boss.

I'm unable to open my map, has anyone else had this issue?
Well, i am enjoying mad max on PC so far. But i was wondering if there will be any mod support for this game, because that would be great! Imagine lots of content for this game.
Don't expect any mods, certainly not support.

If you can't bring your mods to the game, bring the game to your mods:

Why can't they do it? Mad max doesn't even has multiplayer. Just Singleplayer only.
Can't see why they will not do it. Yeah maybe to put some DLC's later to buy.

It's not that they can't, it's that they don't, and they aren't likely to change that now, since Mad Max is even more locked down than their past games.

Is that affecting the weight of the car in real time? Cool beans.

Yes, all the parts on the car are physical. Adding bigger parts adds more weight :)
So i unlocked a Black Tar? paint for killing a bossman but how to i slap it on my car?

Nevermind somehow missed the colour upgrade bit.
I was especially disappointed in the names of the upgrades for the engines. Bantam V6, Major V6, etc, then just repeat the exact same prefix for the V8's.
Could have been "Stock V6, 4-barrel V6, Twin-carb V6, Long Tube V6, overbored V6, Stroker V6, Supercharged V6, Turbosupercharged V6."
"Stock 302 V8, Triple-carb V8, 350 overbore V8, Supercharged V8, 454 Aluminum Head V8, Double-supercharged V8, Double Supercharged V8 Stroker, Angel Combustion V8"
Or at least come up with different names for the V8 dangit.
I'm honestly glad they didn't name it any of those you just said, I don't give a shit for all this Overbore Aluminium 42000550 Supercharged shite.
I also doubt proper engine taxonomy is something that survived the apocalypse when people are barely able to name an object after anything else than the song it makes when they hit it with their foot.

get a load of this gastowner nerd
i bet he doesn't even huff the fumes
why would you even care about that in a videogame lol
the engine names are fine anyway. big chief sounds pretty cool imo
Gameplay-wise, the one thing that really annoyed me was that all on foot bosses follow the same fucking attack pattern and behaviour (when you come to face him [sp]Scabrous Scrotus[/sp] behave exactly like a top dog, for instance)
[sp]Stankgum and your partner in the Thunderdrome[/sp] are the only exceptions, but they are basically glorified knives mooks
[sp]Especially since its basically the same guy every time
They had the opportunity to have some quirky characters there and instead you got different flavors of 'roid gimp'.[/sp]
They were only differentiated by arena, and helmet colour. I was really rather let down by that whole affair.
This games great, but some more variety on the ground and in the cars and in relation to your inventory would be great and the game basically begs for a nemesis system.
And why is the red paint the only one with any gameplay benefit (and such a massive one at that)? The black one could be reduced enemy sight range, the race paint could be +top speed, the bare metal could be -fuel consumption, I just feel like the whole "build your Magnum Opus" thing really hooked down to each and every upgrade is better than the rest so just pick the best one, with the only decision being wether you want pure speed and no armor/bumper or bice versa.

Much like the Orkz, Max has a strong belief that vehicles painted in red go faster and whenever he paints them as such they DO go faster

Doesn't camo make it more difficult for enemies to spot you?
24 hours in and I'm still loving this game. Feels so satisfying driving around and smashing through enemies with your heavy, hard to maneuver war-machine.
My main concern so far is that there is a lot of areas I've nearly (or actually) gotten my self stuck while on foot. Since there'es no jump button, I find it very awkward to explore the tighter, smaller interiors. Seems like a part of the game that was a bit overlooked when they were bug testing.
But there is a jump button
I played with a pad so it was left trigger
So, i found something like it may be a bug, i don't know. It is a loot camp near Jeet's fortress.
Here is an image which camp it is, but i have no idea where to find this project part.

Project Parts remain visible on the map even after you've picked them up for some reason.
Power went out while I was playing, Came back to a corrupt save, I quit :suicide:

and its alt or ctrl with keyboard.
And I haven't found a use for the jump either. It seems like it's just there as a security blanket.

It's gotten me unstuck while on foot more than a few times.
Some spot can only be reached by jumping or gives you a shortcut.
