There is one history relic near Jeet's place that requires you to use the jump to get it, rolling or cheesing with sprint won't work.
I literally had to google a video walk-through to find out that I was required to jump that gap, and then I learned I could even jump in the first place.
I just did like normal and looked at the control settings before starting the game and bound them as I wanted. Like having jump on spacebar.
Did I miss the part of the intro where they tell you about jumping? 26 hours in and Im JUST learning about this now...
Another small detail I feel could have been done better is the camera fading to black when you fill your canteen, fuel up etc. It's by no means a game breaking issue but I feel like it would have been no big deal to pan the camera back behind the player and let the game return seamlessly.
Honestly, I fucking hate that shit. It's the worst part of the game for me. I still like it, but that shit doesn't fly with me at all. I'm sick of it. In any game. In any context.
Another bug i've found, using chum's buggy with the dog dinki-di. Driving through the road when suddenly the dog is barking like crazy, so i know that there is a hidden mine, so i stood still. But somehow it wont get spotted. The dog keeps barking, so i drove around the area where the dog is pointing which direction, still, nothing happens. So i guess another it is another bug in the game.\
Anyone else had this before?
Even the Jeet's territory was completely finished, safe. All mines was cleared out.
Also, sometimes i see a few guys roaming at the desert and asking for water. Whats the point of that? Because you don't anything.

I assume it's for the challenges : "Give X wanderers water from your canteen."
Even if it's not, just feel good knowing you helped some less fortunate folks out.

The first time I ran in to them, I literally ran in to them. I thought they were warboys.

Giving water to them will reveal something on the map, like a scrap location.

You also have to hit the map button to see where that location they revealed is, the map will auto focus on it when you do. Dunno why it doesn't open the map for you.
not all do that, some just give you quite a bit of exp I think, at least it gave me enough to level up once, and nothing was revealed

I actually rolled on the higher platform somehow and got the relic at one point because I completed the whole game without being aware a jump button existed

how the fuck do I get there? There's no way from the tunnel and no way up from the whole wall...
[editline]17th September 2015[/editline]
And while I'm at it, how do I get to the Buzzard nest that's underground?
Buzzard nest's usually have entrances in the form of a ladder heading into a small hole in the ground, usually hidden underneath a gate which you have to harpoon off.
Look for a suspicious metal sheet near the marker.

I hate being someone who asks this, but I got some extremely good news today and want to celebrate by buying a new game. I've had my eye on Mad Max for a while, but not done much research into it, is it worth buying?
Was looking at CJsKeys because it's cheaper.
I'd say if you loved the film then you'll like the game. It might not involve some of the actions in the movie like climbing on vehicles, but that's a false expectation really. The 'survival' part of the game isn't really that hardcore, i.e. you can't really die as a result of not finding enough water/food etc. What you do get is a solid game with decent brawling, car combat and RPG features, and a pretty nice looking world as well. Should be able to get a decent amount of longevity out of it (I haven't actually started playing it yet, still busy with Phantom Pain)
I used g2play.net without any issues
Do Gutgash's side missions
I did all of them
saw some guys walking along the road, thought they were war boys and immediately turbo'ed and launched the first one into the air. then realized they were just wanderers and the rest were all running away screaming
what have i done ;(
also i finally went into buzzard territory and it was p cool

There is no xp. You level up by completing challenges and one of them is giving water to wanderers.
I think the challenge-based leveling is pretty cool.
How many hours did you guys put in before losing interest? I've got 21 hours in so far and I think I'm done, maybe I'll play a little more later though. I wish the bullet-farm was a location in this game.

I'm at 43 hours and not stopping til it's 100%, excluding challenges (the car combat ones are next to impossible since there's barely any enemies anymore). I'm still not bored.

around 20 for me aswell.
I'm at 22 hours and just have done all the story except from the final mission. I'm not sure whether to just do it and finish the game or spend a couple more hours lowering threat. It just feels like such a chore to go around and knock over scarecrows and clear minefields.
You can keep playing after the final mission (the game reverts you back to a previous point in the story), so you can just go for it and lower threat afterward if you still feel like it.

minefields are the bane of existence in this game
whoever thought they were a good idea is a huge asshole

I don't mind the other "checkboxes" in the game but yeah nothing says "padding" like the minefields do.

Finished it up in 45 hours.
I hope they add a way to reset territory threat levels or new game+ or something... I just want a way to finish off the challenges.
Anyone know of a free trainer? I want a fully upgraded magnum opus without completing the rest of the game and having no scrotus patrols to test it out against.
