idk the missions just felt like a serious grind, it never really picked up for me and i think i ended up stopping around the time of the V8. had more fun just going out and doing whatever

I personally really enjoyed the game but I'm not someone who minds repetition that much.
Smashing other cars up and seeing those awesome explosions just doesn't get old to me. I also didn't really feel like a force of nature in melee combat, in fact I died way more than in any other game with this combat style.

I never finished the game's main story, but I did get 30 hours out of it. The vehicle combat was really satisfying, and the melee combat was simple and generic, but still did it's job well enough. I was able to look past most of the repetitiveness, but once I started fighting the same boss over and over at each stronghold, I lost a bit of interest. I'm not sure if the developers were just lazy in that department, or ran out of time/money to properly make each boss unique.

But holy shit, this game has one of the more gorgeous worlds I've played in.

Yeah, honestly this game probably has the most photorealistic landscapes I've seen yet in a game.

As in, it doesn't look "gamey".

It's extremely gorgeous from long distance.
