Yeah, I guess that's true. I'm more looking at the on foot segments. I'm hoping that's just as fleshed out so you're capable out of a car and willing to explore on foot.
I'm looking forward to the new MGS but I've always been more interested in the Mad Max series than the MGS series, which is why I'll buy Mad Max first and Metal Gear later.

As much as I absolutely adore the Metal Gear series, it's really not for everyone. While it's styled after Hollywood action films, you can tell it's very Japanese in design, and the games very much push Hideo Kojima's political ideologies.
If you like hack and slash games, though, I'd recommend Metal Gear Rising. It's really, really fun, and the story and overall themes are a lot less convoluted.

I wonder if vehicular combat will be limited to you, in a car, verses other cars. I personally really love the idea letting the hunchback drive and hopping to other cars to fight. Maybe even something similar to the war rig chase from the film. The whole idea of a mobile siege really appeals to me.

Strange, the games not even out yet and I got around a 450mb update on my ps4 for it. I've had a couple occasions, not too many though, where the framerate drops pretty heavily so hopefully this fixes that.

Way better than I thought it'd be, I didn't really have any high expectations going into it but I'm on day two of having it and I have yet to be bored so that's a good sign in my books. The combat is fun on both foot and in car, the environment is actually pretty cool at times despite it being a barren wasteland, and the graphics and effects are top notch.

I'll never understand how unlicensed companies for CD key selling aren't at all frowned upon when warez is a ban reason
Every mention of those sites are edited out by VALVe on SPUF and banned from /r/gamedeals, and they've been known to produce stolen keys, seems a lot more harmful than piracy
not to mention paying extra not to get scammed is shady enough
