I just rewatched Fury Roads
Fuck I'm excited for the game.
I just need to hope someone will make sweetfx settings that changes the colour to that of Fury Roads.
I remember seeing someone edit one of the parts of the trailer into it and it looked great
I took a trip out to Silverton today to get hype, went to the mad max museum, traveled along the roads Road Warrior was filmed on, and of course, got to see the Interceptor in all it's glory. It's a replica of course, but it's still the Interceptor.

Didn't the color palette used to be much more washed out and shitty-looking before Fury Road came out? I remember the earlier looks at the game had a really ugly aesthetic but after Fury Road came out they redid the colors to be much more saturated like the movie.

Just "pre-ordered" the game through GMG, code still works despite "expiring" yesterday. Immediately got a key for the game, now just have to load up Windows to pre-load the game.

they're the competition, of course valve doesn't want their name getting around. shit, i've rarely bought games directly from steam for the past year or so now, no point in when i can get it through a website for 50% off and still be given a steam code. i understand the developers need the dosh for tech support and paying them and what not, but for the small amount of people who use 3rd party websites, there's easily twice as many still paying full price on steam, along with that the console players are all dumb enough to pay $60 for everything that comes out.
back to the game, a fury road enb would be cash.

That analogy makes no sense because those things have never been overpriced and never will be due to a competitive market. Steam has a monopoly on digital PC games hence they are overpriced.

Got it on PS4 today, is quite entertaining with the odd characters and nice combat once you get into it. But this happened to me and I don't know why: (no spoilers except a character's name used in a very early story mission)

This is the price they've been for at least a decade in general. And further more, this is cheap just compared to how expensive they used to be, and further still the prices haven't actually kept up with inflation at all. So no, you're utterly getting a deal compared to what economics would say you should be paying for them.

I paid £25 for Crysis brand new on release back in 2007, the equivalent of £32 today. There is absolutely no reason AAA games in 2015 are being sold for £40.

I have to admit I'm rather jealous of whoever gets to play this game early as a result of the British Bank Holiday. Oh well, looking forward to seeing the wastelands on Late Monday/Tuesday.
