Just bought the full game after playing the tech demo for quite a while. So hype, this looks incredibly promising.
Is there any way to fix how the tires grip on the ground? They keep skidding on the simplest turns and even when accelerating.

I just noticed all units are imperial. I was wondering why the pickup only went 80kmh but it looked so fast.

And no, my HDD isn't a baked potato. I turned the graphics as low as possible on purpose, so that I would be getting as many frames as possible without any lag.

I've got Sony movie studio (and assume you use it), and know nothing about it - I got the timer added but how do you show the timer without counting at the start? Also you only just beat my time, which annoys me greatly.

I kind of ruined my hatch with modifying files trying to figure it all out, and I didnt back them up. Can someone upload me their hatch folder so I can do the challenge?

Alt + left arrow: Slower slow motion
Alt + right arrow: Faster slow motion
Alt + down arrow: .5x game speed slow motion (as slow as it'll go, pretty much)
Alt + up arrow: return to normal game speed

Gimme a sec, it's uploading right now. I did a backup of my install prior to messing with shit, I recommend you do the same :v: also, this hatch includes the other two engines in the engine pack; nothing default is modified.

Make a blank Text Media above the layer the video is on and make the Length value on the top right very big (I chose 10 hours):

Then right click the Text Media and add a Media FX (not Video FX!)
Choose Sony Timecode. I used the option "Time & Frames" for my video.
Now right click on the Text Media again, and choose this option:

It should make a green line.
Right click on the green line and click on Hold. Then add a point where the lap starts and stops.
Now click the first point that's at the very start of the Text Media clip and right click. Choose "Set to..." and make it 0%. It should look like this now:

Now right click on your end lap point and do the same. If you did it right, it will stop where the line is lower than the middle.

Seems like your framerate may have been a little bit low? I had to abort quite a few otherwise decent laps because of pesky lag spikes.
Has anyone figured out how to swap wheels between vehicles? I tried adding the pickup trucks wheels to the hatchback and they physically work but are invisible, leading me to believe there's a mesh reference somewhere in the files. I figured it was in hatch.DAE (since that file seems to handle meshes), copy/pasted the code blocks for the pickup wheels in there, but alas, the wheels were still invisible. I'd love to get the van's double wheels on the hatchback :v:

No flying laps, each lap is seperate.

I realised after this run that my recording software was set up weird, so the quality is terrible.
But then my car skin is Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff, so I rolled with it, and it ended up being my best lap.
(Also no music because random teamspeak in the background and I thought replacing the audio completely would seem a bit shady?)
