Covet race engine, race turbo, close ratio gearbox and AWD/RWD differentials

Drop it in /BeamNG Drive/vehicles/hatch/
Select race engine from parts list, get about 180hp N/A, very high revving, select race engine then race turbo and its around 293hp, again high revving. Front diff drop down menu now has AWD open, AWD LSD, and RWD LSD diffs. AWD open seems to be best for high speed stability, AWD LSD better for drifting and such. Close ratio gearbox and 293hp turbo race engine will find you about 220kph flat out on grid.
Torque curves realistic, made the engine in Automation first and copied torque curve to BeamNG

I feel dumb for asking, but could I have some help configuring my Gamestop 360 controller to work with the game? I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

Gamestop 360? Never heard of that console before. What does it even mean? A console to end all consoles? With games to end all games? Is it where games stop being fun and become serious?

I seem to have the same problem as that other guy who posted in your thread over at the beamng forums where half of the objects are missing/invisible walls, even after a fresh re-install of the game

It's kinda strange as the visual mesh is a single object. What are your spec?
That map is broken, unfortunately.
Invisible barriers everywhere.
This is pissing me off. First invisible wall muds coming from nowhere, then more invisible cliff you could drive on, then this.
It isn't happening to everybody. Are you guys running on low-end hardware? On both versions?

ok now do the exact same thing but with that car a few meters up so that you crash straight into it :v:
For the guys having problem, try this:
Go in World Editor (F11), select the track model (DDTRACK) and EDITOR > SHAPE EDITOR and check if you can see everything
It looks like it's a Torque3D fail.
Both versions of the map are working perfectly for me. My only problem is with the game itself, the headlights casting from the car don't seem to keep up very smoothly, the light rays are a bit jumpy.

All I manage to do is spin out. I blame my keyboard.
I think we should do runs in any vehicle, and we could just compare times for each vehicle. It could just be an ongoing thing.

Blame the game. Even with a controller, some cars (sports car) will spin out seemingly without warning, even though you're traveling in a straight line.

I like this idea. However I think there should be a limit as to how times are submitted, so it isn't just people running a lap, submitting time, running another faster lap and submitting a new time.

It's actually quite hard to keep to the track, though that might be because I was trying to drift more than anything else.

well people's competitive spirits are going to drive them to do better and better and better, so you'd probably want to get something set up to where they can just continue submitting times since they'd be re-running it to improve their own time and beat others
I say we should make a Top Gear Track Time table, the same as on the show. Of course, if someone ever makes a Vauxhall Astra...

Well the thing is I thought of that idea like the Top Gear timetable, but the thing is on Top Gear, people get on the show, leave their time, and maybe in another season come back.
