Making an offroad challenge map. It currently has 4 levels of difficulty. Can anyone do me a favour? Still having problems at the moment with my card, but if anyone is wanting to buy a game around £10 on steam, I have £10 steam wallet money. Just to trade for this game :v: I really want to make use of this editor.
The cars seem a bit too stiff, not talking about the frame but the paneling would mush a bit more than whats in the game. Seems to me they are a bit too strong in some areas.

Suspensions and the weight of cars (read: ultimately traction) are pretty awful right now, and I hope the devs fix them.

It's a little ridiculous.
I was listening to music on Spotify when I was playing the tech demo, then the Top Gear theme song came on. I can't think of a better song for this game. Now someone needs to make a Top Gear track. I'm definitely getting this at some point though, just with the tech demo I've spent so many hours using the same obstacles. Before I even heard about this game I used the only Paypal money I had left on a cord for my speakers...has anyone made a jeep or old Russian trucks yet? I wouldn't be able to refuse this game if there are.

Its a lot of fun. One thing that does need improvement though. Either they need to make the mirrors work like real mirrors, or they need a back up camera.

As it's an alpha, it will only get better. Crashing shit will be fun for at least an hour, and since it's a driving sandbox with a robust level editor...
If you use the pickup in the techdemo and immediately turn left and keep the accelerator down, it snaps the left front wheel, even though you're only going like 20 mph. I agree with the amount of fragility in the wheels for the most part, but I thought this was a bit silly.
That's hit or miss. Sometimes it snaps like a toothpick, other times I jump it and rollover, only to drive away with a smashed hood. Yeah, the steering arms are made of wood. Its even worse when you add more power or when the car is AWD. I figured out why the Civetta is so hard to drive in a straight line, go on grid pure, get the car rolling at about 30mph, use the door mounted camera and press 1 on the numpad, camera looks at rear wheel, enter slow mo (alt+down) and floor it, watch the rear wheel, first the wheel toes in and wobbles and then the whole car resonates like a steel tub of jello.

Learning: Due to the position of the nodes in the front lower control arm, its impossible to make front shocks that aren't made of jello. Too stiff and the shock just breaks as soon as its spawned. Solution: Modify front suspension. Move node and bottom of shock outwards, more leverage on the wheel, equals stiffer.

I also will be pumping out car mods, once some good doc's come out on the subject.
