Ive gotten pretty good at controlling drifts smoothly in the D15 and Grand Marshal, and a 12 year old with no arms could drive the Covet effectively. I dont play with the H15 too much, but its similar enough to the D15. However, I wont touch the Bolide. Im a keyboard driver.
Hell the Bolide is hard to control with a wheel
Anybody know of any plans for full force feedback?
Anybody know of any plans for full force feedback?
Yes, it's of course planned but hard to do properly.
Engine, transmission, axle, shocks, springs, arms, coilovers, upper&lower arm and tierod done. Need to do front hubcaps and swaybars and I'm done with the frame. EDIT- My project partner make me notice I missed 2 Control arms on the rear one (1 per side). Also, we are going to add the Watts linkage (He is the car expert). From what he explained me it's to keep the axle centered.
I should learn how to model, there's so much shit I want to drive around in.
Does one of them happen to be a VW beetle?
I wonder if 18 wheelers could be done properly in beamng.
I wonder if 18 wheelers could be done properly in beamng.
You can create practically anything, so yes.
What kind of suspension options will there be?
Stock/Sport maybe. I dubt I will make a separate sport shock model, nobody will care to look at them I think. Also, undercarriage completed I guess. Fixed rear arms, swaybars, front hubs and all the stuff.
I wonder if 18 wheelers could be done properly in beamng.
Some updates ago: "- Increased wheel limit from 20 to 40." Yeah, you can do 18-wheelers :v:
Does one of them happen to be a VW beetle?
....yes. Infact I'd model my real life one. That'd be fun. But also a VW T1, sandrail, Jeep Cherokee (old) and random shit like motorized bar stools and shit.

Make it. You know you want to.
Make it. You know you want to.
I've had enough of that vehicle after trying to unlock the Top Gear test track in Gran Turismo 5.

If you really feel like going the extra mile, the police suspension actually adds an inch to the ride height and is a bit stiffer than sport.
If that is still the crown vic, then yes, PI is necessary.

I wish car suggestions wasn't so frowned upon. I'd make a huge-ass list of awesome shit I'd love to drive. Like this for an example: [t]http://puu.sh/46FfE[/t] Those things do wheelies in sand.
Is there any way to see what gear you're in when you're driving manual?
Is there any way to see what gear you're in when you're driving manual?
Press L till you see the car telemetry, it's written in the bottom-left corner. Emherged Ferd :v EDIT- Lot of progresses http://www.beamng.com/threads/957-WIP-1999-Ford-Crown-Victoria?p=36012#post36012
Has the alpha gotten far after the initial release? I'm still planning to buy this.
why hasn't anyone made a monster truck yet
Can't wait 'till someone makes a tank in this game :v:
Would it be possible for someone to make and add a ragdoll into the vehicles? That and a seatbelt which can break after a certain amount of force and you've got the icing on the cake for me.

I'm pretty sure this game will be useful for reenacting car crashes and stuff.
Ragdoll with softbody physics, so when you crash you get to see his face cave in and all of his appendages snap
brb never driving again.
Gawd, this game really stresses out my computer. 10 cars falling down cliff and it starts to lag a fuckton. Still fun to watch big cars turn into compact cars.

You know you want to.
This, but with a ship engine in the back of it and a crazy gear ratio.
