i created a little screenshot of all the currently PUBLICLY released vehicles (color coded as well)
Paused physics (will make screenshot small, if you want to see the full size screenshot just click on it, if i had any photoshop skills i would add a little congrats message to it as well)

So yeah, we got Greenlit! That doesn't mean it's immediately flying onto Steam. It will probably be months before it's on the Steam store. We're still focusing hard on the race update. I added flappy mudflaps to the T75 today :)

To-do list for the T75 is shrinking. All the frame, running gear, engine, etc. is modeled and UVed. Going to pack all that onto one big ass map and texture it, then start finishing up the cab (visor, windshield wipers, hood latch, etc.) and UV all that junk and put it on its own map, then model the interior (dashboard, seats, steering wheel, etc.)
And yes, we are working away at the code - fixed some bugs with the camera movement/mouse control today.

Congratulations on being greenlit, definitely a lot of potential exposure from Steam. Do the camera changes have anything to do with reducing the momentum/smoothing of the chase camera? Because the lack of tightness in the camera can make driving feel a bit awkward.

There's actually an adjustable variable for camera tightness somewhere in default.lua if I remember correctly. Eventually it'll be a user-friendly menu option.

hmmmm, i also have a question, but more to do with physics, with the improved vehicle to object/vehicle collision (at least it looks like its been improved in the greenlight video), would that mean something like, one of those motocross balls that you drive a motorcycle around in would work well? (if the n/b is also simulating the little holes in it) or would that cause a bunch of issues, because of the same reasons that you can't park a vehicle INSIDE the box truck without it freaking out

Until we fix double sided collisions, you will have to choose between inside or outside collision. If you made a geodesic sphere and all the coltris faced inwards, it'd work flawlessly for driving around the inside of (but if you touched the outside, you'd get stuck). We have a plan for fixing double sided collisions - just need to get around to it.

Yes, when we release on Steam you will be able to opt for a free Steam key. You will also still be able to use the old distribution method and updater.

I don't think I posted it on Reddit, but I posted it in the creative work thread a month or so ago asking if anyone had any thoughts/improvements. Got nothing much there so today I thought I'd post it here since it's most relevant.

Don't worry about it, I've seen it 2 places now, here and there, which is hardly shoving it in everybodys faces :v: And it is very authentic looking, I especially like the audio!

Did they ever fix the car handling for this game? i remember it being quite jumpy.
One thing that always annoyed me is that only the default car seems to work properly, the others have faults with their controls or with their handling in my opinion.
On that note there seems to be too many shortcuts which seem to freeze my car sometimes.

according to gabester the vehicle handling is very highly improved in the upcoming "Race Update" (and by upcoming i mean eventually coming sometime soon maybe)
