both of which are incredibly stupid
As much as I find h3h3 cringy, kicking people who play them is incredibly immature and petty.
Is there some alternative mod, like forcing their characters to appear as someone else client side? Like, on their end they're still playing whoever, but on your end they're Dallas, for example? I think that'd be a better method rather than kicking them, if it's possible.

Is the full version of Raid even worth the $10?
man, for fuck's sakes I wish the OVK store would restock the vinyl masks. I've been waiting to get that Dallas one for almost a year.

The custom heist 'The Medic Heist' forces all players to use Dallas' voice. Also forces all bots to have their names changed to things like 'Chainlas' 'Jimlas' 'Ruslas' etc. Never know, could be possible to make a mod that forces changes in voices. Though likely it would be really fucky and probably not work for drop ins, or as a client. All in all though I think this is still an overreaction. People don't give a shit about Wick, or Clover anymore. Nor do they about Bonnie, Jimmy, Rust, Bodhi, etc. On the topic of 'Kick The Wick' mods being revamped for H3H3, both Mod Workshop (formally LastBullet at the time) and Overkill highly disagree with mods that have a negative impact on other players, calling them out as *you* are the problem, not the players with characters you don't like. I have to agree honestly. Other people choosing a character you dislike doesn't cause you any grief, pain or problems. To deal out punishment to innocent people in return is childish. And if you legitimately disagree with the line: "Other people choosing a character you dislike doesn't cause you any grief, pain or problems." Grow up.
Is the full version of Raid even worth the $10?
...yea?
Raid is a fun game that is marred by an incredibly, horrendously shitty leveling system.
Feel like raid would make more sense as 10-15$ title I cant believe it got a full console release
There is enough content there for a $20 release. I think they looked at it though as "Well they'll have to spend all that time to max each class, so all that time is totally worth $40." but its really not because that is miserable, awful grind to max out classes that have skills with virtually no presence during gameplay and you're only leveling up so you can get access to their damn guns and unique upgrades.
the content that is in RAID is so remarkably plain. it makes me wonder how they couldn’t get a lot of the handling and feel right when they were so close to overkill and in some cases, worked on payday for a bit. also there’s absolutely nothing fun about opening countless green crates on the map for ammo and health. terrible mechanic. nothing feels rewarding or good. shooting feels lame, characters are thankfully decent. “earning” your shitty reward in return for upturning stones for dogtags is insulting. progressing is not only arduous, but the increments don’t offer much. just doesn’t feel too great overall. :( I don’t think it’s bad, but it’s not good. for a first attempt, it doesn’t need to be. it’s sort of poetic that it’s closer to PD:TH, and not P2. if they go at it again, hopefully it rocks.
Raid is more like payday 1 than 2, but even payday 1 has more and better content.
Raid is more like payday 1 than 2, but even payday 1 has more and better content.
Absolutely not. Raid definitely outclasses the original Payday in content. The two big problems are the atrocious character/class system they have and the awful rewards.
I'll take those nostalgia goggles that make me see more content in payday 1
Sorry, I should say more polished.
Sorry, I should say more polished.
Its not less polished either. At its worst Raid might be as polished as the original Payday, and on average is noticeably better.
The missions in Raid have some good variation in the objectives, which means you'll be doing something more than defending a single location for a while, and the Operations are a nice way to remix levels into some other kind of story, plus the "open world" map where you drive the car about can be entertaining It's just that everything you do in Raid feels so meaningless with the bad levelling and the dissapointing mission rewards

i expect maria to post that

You can say that about almost every youtube "celeb" nowadays. The more reasonable people don't even have 10% of their views and subs in comparison.
I legitimately do not understand how general has the views that he does, everything I've seen he's one of the most pedantic streamers He's neither interesting nor funny, dudes got negative charisma
I enjoyed his videos of trying to play the heists on OD or DW with his friends, the loadouts ideas and his point of view about something, like he goes 10 mins about something but is not just 10 mins talking the same thing, like what he thinks about the new perk deck, is the problems, the way he found more useful to use, what could be changed and such. Just like Connor does too. What i dont get is why people get so upset on him, like some people say that the way he puts his point of view is like "That's my views, that's the correct one, if someone disagree fuck him", which it isn't, idk where people got this idea from him
I see people are discussing RAID. I'm late to the party but I just got it on sale and I have to say the game really feels like the old days when Payday 2 just came out. Basically shallow in content, not very exciting and awfully grindy. At least missions don't require us to wait five minutes under siege for something to drill. Here's hoping future updates will bring us good stuff. Right now I would've regretted buying it full price.
Finally played Raid properly. Okay 1: Wow there's nothing to this game and 2: are they fucking joking with these upgrade requirements?
The models are fucking abysmal
You can probably attribute most of that to Diesel. :vs: Put through a half-decent engine they look great, imo. But I'm biased. No clue how or why they screwed up her head though [t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/189395795550797824/383001322619797505/unknown.png[/t]

We're in 2013 and not playing Counter-Strike either, but this is just what I think.

Example: Left 4 Dead survivors have hundreds upon hundreds of flexes for various tones and sounds in their voice. Very in detail, but not something Diesel would handle. The infected however, have a small number of looping animations where their mouths move as they breath and groan, or a loop of snarling and yelling gestures. Animations are only like 5 seconds long. If the heisters had something simple like. A calm idle, eyes look around a little, blinking. A stern scowl with occasional slight breathing through the mouth, for when guns are out. That'd be great. Wouldn't hurt to have others like a static pained wince when tased or looping wincing and heavy breathing while downed.
