I'm not sure if I'm late, but I came across this Swedish office which looked familiar...

This reminds me of another fun fact: the interiors of Scarface's mansion (including the red lobby) were all a Hollywood sound set. But the outside of the mansion had to be filmed in an actual location, and a genuine mansion was rented for that purpose.
When overkill went looking for inspiration for the full mansion, that's where they went, including for interiors and gardens that never appeared in the film. The full set of images that became the basis for Scarface mansion are at that link.
Aye but that show is actually just called The Walking Dead. Advertising aside, nobody calls it AMC's The Walking Dead because there's no need to. The same applies to the Telltale series, until now the context has been clear. Now there's two games so people have to say "Overkill's The Walking Dead" and namedrop you fellas next to a big name brand. Clever marketing, but still not catchy.
Telltales walking dead isn't even the only existing walking dead game til now
[editline]11th December 2017[/editline]
I've actually heard a lot of people refer to Telltale's The Walking Dead as... well, Telltale's The Walking Dead.
I've heard telltale infront of like every licensed property such as Batman. Think I've even heard it infront of things that only telltale has like wolf among us
Telltales walking dead isn't even the only existing walking dead game til now
Yeahhh but the others aren't exactly notable. Survival Instinct has a handy subtitle to distinguish it anyway.
[editline]11th December 2017[/editline]
Actually there's a bunch of TWD-games from various developers and publishers, only two have really gained any notoriety though (Telltale's TWD and Activision's "Survival Instinct").
http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Games
But anyway, you might not say "AMC's ..." but you probably say "the tv-show" when people ask you to specify if you mean that or the comic, which I've had happen a lot :vs: So with a plethora of games out there, seems fair to add the dev-name to know it's that game in the pile. If anything I think doing so is a good thing to avoid possible confusion. The risk of working with a licensed IP I suppose. v:v:v
[editline]11th December 2017[/editline]
Although apparently the mobile game is pretty popular. Haven't tried it myself yet.
We're basically on the same wavelength here, saying things with the same name are confusing (usually the context of "watched/read/played The Walking Dead" is enough though right?) I just think that the title could be shorter and catchier than "Overkill's The Walking Dead".

if overkill wont give us gameplay, i'll find my own goshdarnit

I'd just be really surprised in a negative way if it wasn't left 4 dead with skill trees
I'd just be really surprised in a negative way if it wasn't left 4 dead with skill trees
Isn't that just called Killing Floor?
killing floor has had like 2 campaign missions in 12 years and doesn't have a skill tree like payday's at all
I feel like the only things that Overkill's Walking Dead game will have in common with L4D and Killing Floor are zombies, multiplayer gameplay, and being an FPS. The zombies in this game will be slow, and I'll also guess that ammo conservation will be important. They also promised human enemies as well. You'll probably have to take your time rather than rushing everywhere. Of course, this all depends on how closely Overkill is gonna follow the comics and show. Think of the game being more like No More Room in Hell.

Can't wait to get out of the spawn area to shove stun and murder the zombies with a dinky crowbar
Was dicking around with my skin swapper again and made this combo...

Some new achievements just got added.

please not a vlad endurance heist, I have a hard enough time playing with randos that can't survive heists that last 4 minutes
The secret is coming. Those achievement teasers are from the definition of a diamond on wikipedia.
Garrett just received an email from the illuminati.

Mr. Garrett, what is stopping your nemesis worth to you?
The email for anyone interested
So:
The from address machine translates to "Hanging gardens @ beyond yesterday" which is probably a reference to the hanging gardens of babylon.
The subject line, Annuit Coeptis, appears under the Eye of Providence on the seal of the US.
The first sentence is from the declaration of independence.
Sorry, y'all are going to get to watch me descend into full "who is pepe silvia" on this.
Imagine actually moving onto excavating ruins of places that should no longer exist. Like invading a secret society.
i’m interested to see how they handle the secret this go-around. the playerbase isn’t even remotely the same, the game can be easily dissected, there’s split playerbases, and so on...
i’m currently leaning toward a sort of cop-out heist in which it is heavily secret based for those who pay attention but still a fun heist for others who aren’t involved with that level of investigation. that or another dripfed riddle with a steam API login at the end to get your secret masks.
who knows! I hope it blows me away.
and finale.

I feel like something is going to happen to Bain so they don't have to hire Viklund for Payday 3.
Mr. Garrett, what is stopping your nemesis worth to you?
What does this sentence even mean? I've been reading it over and over but it feels grammatically incorrect somehow.

Does "How much would stopping your nemesis be worth to you" sound better?
right, ignore my small brain
So I cooked up a script that allows for overriding weapon mod type strings to fix some oddities due to mod types being shared.
For example, the Raging Bull's barrels and the 1911's slides both use the "slide" mod type which results in both of them being under the "Slide" mod category their respective mod menus.
While it makes sense for the 1911's slide mods to be under "Slides", it doesn't make much sense for the Raging Bull to have its barrel mods under the "Slides" category. Changing the actual mod type breaks the game and renaming the "Slide" category to "Barrel" doesn't work since that'd make actual pistol slides fall under the "Barrel" category which isn't exactly right either.
This script I made allows me to change the category name on a per-weapon basis so it's possible to have:
[t]https://puu.sh/yFI0a/03bdd167fd.png[/t]
while also having:
[t]https://puu.sh/yFI7z/23cacfc213.png[/t]
But the true nature behind making this script was so I could do this:

To rename the parts for the SAA, yes.
Renaming the mod categories for specific weapons without messing up the mod categories for other weapons, no.
Better way of putting it: Mods from different weapons that share a mod category internally can be displayed under different categories using this script.
