I compared some stats. It has less accuracy and stability(which hardly matters) and higher base concealment at 22 vs GL40-s 18. It has identical total ammo, so I can assume it has the same pick-up rate too, since pick-up is usually a % of total ammo.
Essentially it's the exact same gun, although as of now, the make or break comes down to modding capability. If it can take mods to lower concealment, like a removed stock mod or something, it flat-out makes GL40 obsolete.
Personally, I'm not surprised. After all, the Arbeiter and China Puff got nerfed to the ground so I guess it's completely justified. They totally can't stun rooms of enemies for 5 seconds anymore so this is to compensate for that.:vs:

I've got an idea for a big qol improvement mod.
If you double click to activate a mod you have at least one copy of, but they're all on other weapons, a menu will come up listing all the weapons that have that mod on them. Clicking on one of those weapons will deactivate the mod so you can use it on other weapons.
Would this be possible to make as a mod?
So are we going to get a Duke safe or h3h3 safe any time soon? I feel like A duke safe would have potential for some really good skins

Potential solution to how sniper sights reduce concealment.
Increase all sniper rifles' concealment by 4, and make the default scope have -4 concealment. This would make the surgeon sight +3 instead of -1, for example. Maybe also have the theia magnified scope be -5 to be -1 concealment, since it's bigger than the default scope.

First I'd like them to make sniper rifles not be outclassed by literally anything else.

Adding a silencer to a sniper makes it less sneaky. ~logic~
I literally built a stealth Sniper loadout. I had to use specific secondaries because snipers have the worst concealment ever and I couldn't get lower than 49 concealment. That's with a build, loadout, and deck specifically tailored to it. It's kind of dumb.

It's mostly just Xbox edition being out of date. I think they just added Scarface so maybe the issue is fixed but it was a huge issue with no snipers giving less than 40 concealment with a silencer.

They can already override weapon stats depending on the weapon, they just chose not to do it.

Hard at work making a sound mod. Replace PD2 Bulldozer dialogue with PD:TH's bulldozer.

Dug up a good 100 files documented on a PD2 audio spreadsheet online. Downloaded some anime gibberish Dozer mod, weeded out the 100 duplicates leaving me with 173 others.
Search for those 173 one by one, extracting the vanilla ones, and added their descriptions to the spreadsheet as they were missing.
So I now have 273 Dozer voice files ripped from a folder of 22,000+, or at least the majority of them supposing the anime one and spreadsheet still missed some.
And now to edit all of them one by one, rename them one by one, and recompile one by one.... :s:
