Void UI looks great and has some extras that help (a scoreboard with lots of info ie. team mates' guns, kills/downs and even their playtime, remaining pagers in stealth etc)
I do appreciate this, but I was looking for something with more practical information (Interaction timers, remaining downs, etc). Like a mix between HoxHud and PocoHud; I want something that displays values that I don't have to keep track of in my head or run to double-check.
I miss pocohud's jukebox so much
I miss WolfHUD. I miss HoxHUD.
Wolfhud has not gone anywhere
I miss pocohud's jukebox so much
It's... still around? I use it all the time
Wolfhud has not gone anywhere
The only reason people believe WolfHUD is done for is because Kamikaze has not updated the PaydayMods page... And because people don't use the GitHub version.
I miss WolfHUD. I miss HoxHUD.
Did the HoxHUD dev ever admit that just switching over to BLT as a standardised mod framework was just a good idea or did he fade into obscurity instead?
I haven't really seen anyone talk about them using HoxHUD or mentioning it, aside from asking whether or not it still exists
Really curious about when the FBI files will get updated for the new heists and characters, we've had several emails and story developments yet RD doesn't have an entry after like 3 months
I haven't really seen anyone talk about them using HoxHUD or mentioning it, aside from asking whether or not it still exists
The most common quote is "Uninstall HoxHud" because of how unpopular and outdated that HUD mod is, on top of its creator being a dickhead such as because he doesn't want to move over to BLT.
Did the HoxHUD dev ever admit that just switching over to BLT as a standardised mod framework was just a good idea or did he fade into obscurity instead?
Faded into obscurity. When asked if he'll ever move over to BLT he repeatedly calls it impossible and tells people to use his BLT-modification which is a variant of the very first BLT release.
The most common quote is "Uninstall HoxHud" because of how unpopular and outdated that HUD mod is, on top of its creator being a dickhead such as because he doesn't want to move over to BLT.
[del]I found a BLT link very quickly in official group and I'm just using that so I wonder why people are so hostile towards it. It shows the buff durations and has the voice line wheel, all I need and it works great.[/del] I lied to myself
Pocohud does everything hoxhud does but better and doesn't require a closed source dll and a closed source mod.
I will ride or die for the default hud
I will ride or die for the default hud
But will you ride and die being denied certain vital information to both yourself and your teammates? For instance, how many times you may be downed before entering police custody? If yes, then I hope you do it despite the former, not because of it.
nevermind I'm dumb, I'm using PocoHud with more buff markers mod to show me all them juicy buffs. Ignore that post :v: PocoHud ftw [editline]12th February 2018[/editline]
I will ride or die for the default hud
I pity you

The only time I might see someone run in to that issue is when someone goes down and gets hit with inspire literally the same moment, which I've only seen when playing with bots. Then I can understand because you don't exactly realize you ever went down. I mean shit, I've used Pocohud for ages at this point but I didn't even realize that was a thing, let alone something apparently necessary.

I tried making a fun little john wick inspired build (I know), and it's actually a very solid build imo. It's a shotgun/pistol dodge crit stoic build and with the raven/ap pistol combo I can put down the big guys in a couple hits. (16-19k on overkill trigger happy crit headshot to bulldozers) [vid]http://i.imgur.com/yYyYAuA.mp4[/vid] Build sauce
i managed to solo most of the heists on OD... but nothing prepared me for trying to pull that shit on goat sim. wasted hours just to get onto day 2 and gave up hours into that as well. what an awful difficulty
It's... still around? I use it all the time
Pocohud out of all my mods installed is the only one that refuses to work
Buddy it's only 3 downs if you seriously need a mod to count that high there's a lot more going on in your world
It's also helpful to know how many times the teammates can enter bleedout, Dick, but maybe that's too much for you?

Just enjoy the awesome feat by watching.

I recently went through the grind to get the OD mask. With the exception of few heists that were pain in the ass, mostly because I solo'd them (Lab Rats, Transport: Train heist), I never had any problems. I can definitely see why people call OD easy. Hell, the last heist I had to do was Goat sim, and it had players with infamy levels ranging from 0 to 5.

I just went for it again and day 2 is just complete ass, even with an open lobby. despite the atrocious pubbers, got to the overpass twice but shit hits the fan there too :hammered:
I've learned why some payday weapons aren't akimbo. Akimbo Uzi's from a mod I have just rip the OVK cops to shreds.
New beta update, changes include -One less bulldozer and cloaker on dw/od -Mayhem G36 swats do the same damage as Overkill M4 swats -Ten mutators will no longer have an xp and cash penalty -Trigger Happy basic is now a 120% damage buff that only stacks once, the aced increases the duration to four seconds
Guys, do you know if there exists a mod for RAID that allows you to switch your character? I'm tired of playing as the same guy, but I also don't want to start the game over just because of that. Found nothing on modworkshop. Damn, why does this game have to be so restrictive.

OD spawns a very large number of enemies, and on pretty much all systems that don't have SSDs, this causes the enemies to be way less than responsive. Many OD heists are made far more reasonable (or even easier than DW!) because enemies, both the ones you see and the ones you can't, spend a lot of time standing still, not reacting to players. The beta adopts a fix similar to FSS that changes this. 3. The silencer oversight I posted about a bit upthread means that if you're using a silencer, OD enemies are often really easy to kill safely because shooting at them doesn't draw aggro, but does suppress them. 4. Updates to the game over time since Housewarming have had a number of features that let players circumvent the normal risk and exposure mechanics of the game by giving them powerful, conditional healing, invincibility, dodge, etc. If you're fighting OD enemies in the normal ways that the game intends, you die. However, these tools basically circumvent normal combat systems. Effective use of them has made OD easier. The biggest one is Jokers, which wind up drawing a huge portion of enemy aggro, but a lot of the newer perk decks are similar. There's also been more than a little power creep going on with newer weapons. The end result, though, is that OD outcomes are more often the product of the RNG of enemy accuracy when you're exposed to fire, and nothing else. Goat heist gets a bad rap now because of its length and lack of cover, but these are ultimately relatively minor issues that suddenly become hellish because the top difficulty is using enemies with super-high damage and no falloff.
You think they should add the JP36 dudes into OD?
I'm not sure I follow the question; what would changing their weapon do? Which enemies use the JP36?
