Michael Myers is a good killer if used right, Bill Overbeck and Laurie Strode added some good survivor perks but Leatherface is really just a worse Hillbilly and Freddy a slightly better Wraith, ''work well'' really isn't something I'd say for 2/3 crossover killers, Quentin Smith also brought absolutely garbage perks to the table for survivors. Anyway since when do people talk about DbD in this thread?
We usually talk about most crossover games for payday 2, especially ones actually made by Starbreeze. Before being banned an overkill employee had asked we just call this Starbreeze thread.
I still disagree about this being a Starbreeze thread as our certain overkill employee had suggested until his untimely demise.
it's not like DBD and other starbreeze stuff will get their own thread anyway might as well make it a SB thread, there probably won't be a lot of talk about other games anyway
are there suggested levels for hard/very hard in RAID? don’t want to start hosting or joining games if i’m considered under leveled. also what changes? enemy health, spawns, damage?
also what changes? enemy health, spawns, damage?
☑ all of the above
are there suggested levels for hard/very hard in RAID? don’t want to start hosting or joining games if i’m considered under leveled. also what changes? enemy health, spawns, damage?
You can finish them with a team of people with a level as low as 15, maybe even 10. And you WILL have to get good that early because otherwise actually reaching the levels where you could be more comfortable with in order to play very hard will take you forever. And it's not like the latter difficulties even give that much experience in comparison to normal (Considering the jump in difficulty) but rather that every single bit helps in the grindfest that is RAID. The skills aren't that much of gamechangers in general, what mostly matters is your weapon mods (Grind kills) and your warcry skills (GRIND EVERYTHING), both of which are obviously locked behind grinding.
Didn't they remove their head hitbox multiplier in this patch? Unless it somehow got reverted.
Instead of removing it, they just made the Headless Dozer ignore headshots.
I still disagree about this being a Starbreeze thread as our certain overkill employee had suggested until his untimely demise.
I said just keep it payday and we'll keep talking about starbreeze in here like always, no need to change the title [editline]27th October 2017[/editline]
are there suggested levels for hard/very hard in RAID? don’t want to start hosting or joining games if i’m considered under leveled. also what changes? enemy health, spawns, damage?
I don't think we've quite figured out what the level recommended is. I'm not too sure there actually will be much of a giant difference when I get later. Maybe ~15? [editline]27th October 2017[/editline] You'll want assault for the healing cry imo
that's not unpopular at all, lol DbD is the way better game, almost objectively. F13 shit the bed pretty hard, and this is coming from someone who bought into the hype at launch
Here's my opinion on it; Dead by Daylight seems to be entirely focused on the competitive side of the mini-genre - what with the rank system, scores, monthly resets, etc. Because of this, if you're in it more for the "goof around as someone in a horror movie/the killer" angle you can be left a bit wanting. Friday the 13th is much more a social game - what with the amount of co-operation required, the local/walkie-talkie voice chat, and the fact that Jason can also talk and hear everything you say, the game manages to be, for me atleast, that bit more enjoyable, a bit more memorable. Bugwise, both games were as equally fucked on launch as the other. They're both generally working better now. As for how the developers handle the community, well... there was all that drama with Friday the 13th where someone was, supposedly, banned for messing with a friend of the developer. However, that was months ago at this point and I believe it all got settled. I think it helps with Friday the 13th being much more a rotating-server/party like game as opposed to Dead by Daylight's almost Hearthstone-esque system. Most people who get killed in Dead by Daylight end up just quitting. While in Friday the 13th you generally have a bit of incentive to stick around so you can get your XP, but ALSO so you can spawn as Tommy Jarvis and save the day/last remaining players. Ultimately, they're two fairly different games approaching the genre from different angles - if you're the type of player who enjoys being competitive and isn't just looking for what is essentially Trouble in Terrorist Town the 13th, then you'll probably enjoy Dead by Daylight. If you're looking for a more social game to goof around with, then Friday the 13th is the better option. ...After I typed up this wall of text I now realise this is the Payday thread. Whoops.

I hope we actually get answers in this AMA instead of constant dodging and winky faces.
fingers crossed for the no mercy port for halloween straight after crimefest  cmon ovk only one more pd:th port you can do it then you can get to actually makin original heists for the rest of the game's life-span, even if i love these ports i'm ready for a focus on some original stuff other than alaskan deal, which is certainly a step in the right direction. also diamond heist better have those tiny sapphires and the infamous big diamond

Was it ever explained what the fuck happened to Scarface's face when he was first released? [t]https://i.imgur.com/mjfp6dP.png[/t] They fixed it like a week after, what happened?

[T]https://i.imgur.com/PUHYHxs.jpg[/T] have at it, already got mine should be clear that these will not be hard to get like any of the other event "exclusives" but for anyone worried about that at the moment here you go edit: the diamond heist suits are back (the correct name of which escapes me at the moment...), so is the red diamond. dunno if it functions the same as the PD:TH variant.
thanks took them all [editline]27th October 2017[/editline] it was already taken actually but damn this page just refuses to load

Is there a mod that makes it so that when I tell bots to stand still, they actually stand still? I don't want that bot getting up to revive teammates, or walking to me when I get too far away. I just need them to stay put.
