Hehehhahaha. Say, you know those swat vans on Alaskan Deal that don't do anything? I fixed that.
Death Sentence is just not fun. The only way they can make the game hard besides actually making the ai better is make it so you just can't do objectives during assaults.
Is there a "Going to a special hell" rating?
I cannot go back to playing Payday 2 on the desktop after VR.
I wish there was a difficulty that actually decreased spawns, while making the enemies significally stronger. Sort of like 2013 Overkill.
You can turn on manual reloads in the VR options, though it's really simplified (you just slap the mag in the gun, no other actions needed).
Hey presto, that’s actually what I’m working on! “Crackdown “ replaces Death Sentence and has a spawncap of fifty- but individual enemies, especially special ones, are changed to be much nastier.
Oh, fuck there is?
I'm okay with that.
Think they'll have something big for update 200?
The soundtrack finally gets updated.
But they will also add a new song that will take at least a year to get added to the soundtrack.
Primarily, I want them to fix various issues that are still present, like those from around 2013 (animation issues, navigation problems (see Shadow Raid), fixed tweakdatas brought to you by Hassat Hunter (my hero!), and that also includes the unreleased mask with the Car Shop heist. (Of course, one could simply do it manually via BeardLib!)
Word is a big bug fix patch is in the making.
Apparently the Diamond Heist remake performs badly because they didn't add occlusion so the whole (very complex) map is rendered. Do any other maps have this issue?
Hotline Miami, day 2 had that problem too, I think.
Diamond Heist does have an occluder, but apparently they got lazy with it. This is also true for Golden Grin Casino and Car Shop, two levels designed by Lion Game Lion. They're nicely made (if you discount the annoying stealth part for Car Shop), but cause slowdown from having to render so much shit at once.
Experimental Optimization Improvements could use some updating.
The car mechanics were definitely made by Lion Game Lion, but the heist itself was designed by Overkill iirc.
Bit of a messy development to say the least.
Sadly, the Diesel engine can do much better handling than what PAYDAY 2 shows off.
Most likely a pipe dream at this point, but GODS I hope they get cracking on a 64-bit executable.
RAID already is 64-bit, it also has borderless window support.
PCGamingWiki mentions that Linux users get a 64-bit executable for PAYDAY 2.
Can they please fix the bug that makes Undercover uncompletable. Also @Finale can you disclose a source for that bug fix patch which is coming?
Uncompletable? What?
Occasionally a hack will end, but you can't get another code out of the Taxman. It might be releated to the power being cut, but I'm not sure.
It happens if the hack finishes at the same time as the power is disconnected. Connor Shaw has a video on this.
I tried the aa-12 last night with my shotty build. I feel like i had the power of god in my hands.
Breaker 12g + 000 Buck + Skills has it doing like 350+ damage per blast. I'm one hitting Tasers at long range, typically 2 to 3 shots to kill a Dozer once the plates are gone.
Pros: Very high damage, great spread, can use silencer, 20 conceal, fast reload, sexy af animations
Cons: Low RoF, low max ammo, very poor ammo pickup.
Could you post your build? I used to have a great Breaker build but then I think it got nerfed somehow and I abandoned it.
I mean with all the shotgun perks, i can clear a room and a half with a mag, and almost never run out of ammo. Seriously, it picks up like 6 shells per box with the ammo build. Its still like 2-3 shots for specials bar bulls. I would like the breaker but it has a low ammo pick up rate and you dont reload 50 rounds per mag.
The new RAID update has a throwable coin to lure guards in stealth.
Payday could use something like that.
