Looks like L4D but slower and jankier. Ehhh, I'd rather have a few more years of Payday 2
Considering they made a game on Unreal, maybe we'll get PD3 on it :V
Valhalla got turned into an unreal plugin so PD3 is pretty much confirmed for unreal, since it was originally going to be on Valhalla when it was a standalone engine.

what the fuck is this
That legit reminds me so much of dead island, its kinda odd
yeah especially with what the trailers were
It doesn't look good at all? I was like "okay yeah, this can be an early build or whatever, temp UI etc" but then I heard Almir (?) say pre-orders are going up tomorrow???
Why do the zombie animations look like they're limited to 30 fps
I'm starting to think the "controlled" footage is, uh, sub-par from the actual experience? Pretty much every other third-party source I've seen come out (people who have gone to the booth to record gameplay, journalists writing articles) have been positive and showed the game in a much better light - which is pretty interesting, usually it's the other way around. Y'know I thought it might take like a year or so before I would become blind to the ongoings of SBZ/OVK but all it took was a few months.
Yeah, the little amount of footage that we've seen puts the game in kind of a bad light. I'm still interested, at the very least I want to see how it differs from PD2.
Those animations really, reeeeeally are janky though. Hopefully they iron those out before release.
The more I look at it the more I think the individual animations are serviceable, but the blending from one to the other is too sharp and becomes jarring. Could be anything from short blend-times in state machines to mismatched poses in the raw animation. It's not a hard kink to iron out, anyway.
I still find 60 bucks ridiculous for it
