Gimme an XCOM styled game where it takes place during the events of Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun. Where you play as members of the black hand, launching terrorist operations and covert missions to distract GDI from Anton Slavik.
Psycho Pass with XCOM gameplay- 90% of your shots are instakills but you squadmates have a good chance of ignoring you. Its in your strategic interests to calm down your target, corner and interrogate them, or otherwise non-lethally defuse the situation before a by-the-book squadmate gets told by their talking gun to pop the suspect like a great big blood balloon[URL="https://i.imgur.com/ApYmU0n.jpg"].[/URL] You tackle cases across the city and try to gather information about a mastermind before they fulfil their objective. All this while managing mental health, which gets damaged by major objective failure and overly-violent actions. Mix in some bondmate stuff that lets you take better control of squadmates as they trust your decisions more.
I thought a Wolfenstein The New Order theme would make for an awesome total conversion for XCOM 2.

how do you deal with priests???
the hunter chosen summoned 2. and i immediately killed the chosen, and now these two fucking priests are causing the match to drag out for several rounds because they are impossible to hit even at point blank range. its so infuriating because all they do is run away so they're difficult to flank, and even if you flank them they get the defense percentage that makes them difficult to hit anyway.

I wouldn't say they're more of a threat than the Chosen but they are very annoying, being basically Sectoids but without the disadvantage of having tissue-paper vulnerability, and having stasis, which is about a thousand times worse than psychic zombies and mindfray.
I had the Assassin in my game in the final stronghold with Planewalker and the Priest summoning ability (welp) and that took longer to beat because of the Priests, but luckily I didn't lose anyone.
Just about the worse thing was inadvertedly running one of my soldiers while another one was being mindcontrolled, with my overwatch still active, causing the former one to get shot at, which then went on to heal the Assasin because of soulsteal.

Got hit with the most intense Terror Site mission in XCOM so far. A wrong move could be a death sentence, but I managed to pull through with surprising results.

Did a EXALT Extraction mission. Almost no one got more than 3 ticks of damage and every enemy agent died barring one sniper that glitched out of existence.

Same mission but I thought this was funny. My Heavy Liara did suppression fire on a sniper; she missed but it hit the truck. Next turn later the truck explodes and kills the EXALT sniper.

Is it just me or did they make the final mission way easier in WOTC, I don't just mean that WOTC soldiers are stronger or the Chosen weapons you get are better, but the final mission felt way shorter, did you always get teleported into the final room like that?

Here's my last poster from that campaign, yeah I know I typo'd the first line, can't really fix that now.
Anyways, WOTC isn't quite XCOM 3 like people were joking about, it is however the true XCOM 2, fixing almost every problem I had with the game while adding features I didn't even know I wanted, like the bond system. what a fantastic extension of the base gameplay, firaxis does it again.

In my vanilla run, the third avatar teleported to the beginning of the level and it took like 100 years for me to find them, now the avatar room is sealed so that can't happen.

Yeah there's a good chance they did that for balance/bugs.
Turns out the reason why I never completed XCOM EW is because the one ship I need to shoot down to progress is ridiculously powerful. Even with Firestorm with Laser Weaponry the ship is gone before I can deal the final blow.

I'm stuck on a large supply ship myself with sectopods, elites, MEC's, Cyberdisks, and a Ethereal. I got two ticks of panic in the US so I could choose to bail, but I'm already knee deep in ayyliens that evacuating my best soldiers won't work.
not sure if they patched it out but on large supply landings pretty much all the pods on the map would converge on the rear ramp if you happened to get that drop zone. with that in mind you could cheese those missions relatively early on.

there's only half cover between your starting woody area and the ramp, if you leave only a few manageable pieces intact (the abduction pod things) you can effectively get the AI to sprint two-by-two headlong into overwatch
