to add insult to injury to that mission, that was the VIP, dying
thanks, satan

No, Satan would have spawned an andromedon, an archon, and a codex instead.
No, Satan would have spawned an Avatar, an Avatar, and a Gatekeeper instead.
FTFY
FTFY
That's not possible without modding.

FTFY, but much better
do mutons miss?
Surely you jest
this game wants me to pour oatmeal on my motherboard
do mutons miss?
If you have high dodge, yes. Ps. Don't melee them unless you have 90% of hitting them, as a miss gives them a free counterattack with the chainsaw bayonet.

Dodge doesn't affect whether or not the shot hits. It affects whether or not the shot is going to graze.
My next project in the works, the IMI Uzi. I'm almost done porting this weapon, so expect it in the workshop maybe today or tomorrow. I need to figure out why the animation doesn't want to line up.

It almost looks like it'd work as a pistol, it's just that size where it could be either one. Maybe if it were a Mini / Micro Uzi, it'd work as a pistol.
Yeah, XCOM guns are huge, most real weapons aren't going to match the animations.

So that's what that is! I don't use the sword period unless it's a 90% chance anyway and nobody can do anything else. I just thought they got 1 parry-counter per turn because a Muton has never not put my first ranger to melee in the infirmary for 29 days every time I've tried.
I've released the Uzi Submachine gun just now!

I couldn't fix the position of the hands, since I would end up having to fix a lot of animations just to get it right.
Anyways, here's another thing I'll eventually port as a replacement for the Skyranger.

[sp]It does have an interior, btw.[/sp]

Can that even fit in the Avenger? :v:
Can that even fit in the Avenger? :v:
I can probably make it fit. I just need the rotors and then I'm in business.
I think this particular model is reused from Modern Warfare, so I'll grab those textures as well.
my grenadier finally got his callsign

You gotta add a faint "it ain't me" playing when its dropping off during the cutscene.

I always give my soldiers nicknames based on their AWC perk.
The V-22 Osprey might fit better size wise and aesthetically IMO
V-22s are much too wide and the Chinook is too long assuming you want intact animations before/after missions.
[editline]19th April 2016[/editline]
Not to mention all the custom animations you need to create yourself plus add new code which would play the related helicopter sounds.
And play Fortunate Son in the background, very important.

Well you could always fold up the wings

Porting the Chinook is in the backburner for now, since I have those obstacles to overcome. I'll probably get some help on this one.

True but its still fuckhuge and it still requires ALOT of custom animating, something which is wee bit more complex than adding new weapons.
An MV-22 would kill the entire squad before they even arrive to the dropzone. They're screaming metal deathtraps.

Strictly speaking, IIRC the XCOM 2 Skyranger's a one-off prototype from before the war. And it shows, considering the main fuselage is literally riveted together and welded onto a cargo bay too large for it. Same with the XCOM:EU Skyranger, except that one was at least finished by the looks of things.
My headcanon is that the original Skyranger just ate shit and blew the fuck up one day, forcing the resistance to use the mothballed pizza-shit they have now :v:.

Weren't most of the problems with the MV-22 fixed/being worked on? Or was that just some bullshit made up to not make it seem like as big a disaster as it was?
Is there any news as to the upcoming DLC's? Will it continue the mainstory or be a different story line entirely?

We don't have any details aside from what is listed on the season pass page on Steam.
