Looks exciting. Sounds like Rulers will be bosses that can face permadeath. Maybe we're meant to track them to their lair (or something) and kill them before they escape, and if they do, track them down again?

Here's a fun fact for everyone. I was extracting MW3 weapons so that I could port them later, and I found something called viewmodel_metal_gear_gun. I decided to take a look, and it turned out to be the USP .45. I'm kinda compelled to port it now.
Fixed version, the previous one used the wrong textures:

I know I'm seriously outnumbered with my disagreement, but I voted MAC-11 because it'd be neat to see as an alternative to the Sharpshooter's Magnum. A little burst of automatic fire instead of a single shot.
As for weapons I'd like to see, Scorpion EVO III and MP7. My favourite SMG and my favourite PDW. I'd say G36V, but someone already ported some from Battlefield and I don't recall if CoD had them.

Nah, I hope it's assassination missions where you're specifically going after them. Like the VIP missions except they shoot back and try to escape.

There an actually a few I think, but they only add the headmesh, without animations or anything. Ist looks...uncanny.

Well I installed the entire SDK, it took me 26 hours. Now it tells me it's missing components. A search reveals it's apparently set up for Windows XP and I can't run it on Windows 7? Is that actually true?

According to Ninja Nub, the current heads are all the same mesh but with different flex shapes to create different facial features. Or something like that. If that's the case, then it theoretically shouldn't be too difficult to make new heads.

Ugh, I decided to hold off porting the USP .45, because I'm running into problems. (MW3 doesn't have env maps, so I'm left with a diffuse, a normal, and a specular map).
It looks super dark compared to the weapon I've been porting from Black Ops, not to mention that all of MW3s weapons have mirrored meshes, like for example, the ACR has two receivers on both sides of the weapon. The USP has two select firing modes on both sides on the weapon, among other things.
Instead, I went ahead and ported the MAC-11, both as a primary weapon and a sidearm for snipers:

I really wish someone would start porting models from Mass Effect games now. There are some head model ports already, so I'm hopeful for weapons and armour.
