I'll evac myself out[/QUOTE] Well he'd be a scientist, which isn't too much of a far cry from an alchemist, and every game that has an alchemist type person they tend to use mixtures that are tantamount to grenades. Ergo, grenadier with more than two types of grenades and a unique backup weapon. Heck I can imagine him having lots of grenades but a weak backup gun like a single pistol (with very few pistol skills) so his primary method of combat is area denial via fire/acid/poison and shit like that. Perhaps something that can locally mess with ADVENT trooper implants for added fun.

The balance of the rulers would be less frububbled if they didn't appear on timed missions and have instant KO moves that affect half your squad.
I lost 3 of my best people from the unconscious bullshit. Rather annoying you can't remove that.
I wish there was a mod that makes unconscious units wake up after a number of turns, like in UFO Defense/TFTD.

One time it Stunned on Overwatch, but I guess the game didn't care, because as soon as I moved, the Ruler got its reaction just fine. edit: Also, DO NOT reload the game after you get to the [sp]Poison Gas Room sections[/sp] of Shen's Last Gift mission. Found this out the hard way when [sp]Shen got ventilated in full cover from the 4 bullshit turrets that spawn when you touch the fart-release valve[/sp] and had to load. For whatever reason, taking any action afterwards causes a long freeze, followed by actions outside of moving not being carried out. Occasionally, your ears will be assaulted by robot-sex sounds and all the [sp]Derelict MECs' ragdolls just flailing around the room[/sp]. I guess I'll just not play XCOM 2 for a while again, because that mission is an ass pain with only 4 troops and Lily. At least I got to move [sp]SPARK[/sp] a couple of times and shoot before it all went to shit.

Good god Rulers are the most unbalanced shit I've ever experienced and that's just off my first encounter. I might actually play without them in the future I dislike it that much already. Does anyone have a list of the big changes since release? I literally haven't had a serious playthrough since launch. The game feels different (outside DLC additions) but I can't figure out what yet.

So it was late night, and I decided to do "one last mission" before bedtime. Heck, if I finish this mission I'll have SPARK units to look forward to tomorrow! How hard can it be? Everyone at the end was gravely wounded except the sniper who was unscathed (cheeky Netherlander bastard he was) Everyone also got promoted, and well fucking earned too.
So has someone thought of making a Elite (sangheili) model for a squad member? I've seen Mass Effect characters and the Predator so surely it can be done.

Protip for anyone doing this mission, it's wise to hold off for bluescreen rounds.
