I've been working on the VP for at least 15 hours, and also recently ported Richard Returns, and now I really just want to play and enjoy the game with my Hotline Miami set, but I can't because I'm halfway through on porting Adam Jensen's glasses :v: I just can't stop myself from doing it. I also have an idea how to implement all other Hotline Miami masks from PAYDAY 2.

You can cheese the ever-loving heck out of 'Zerker Queen cause they have no ups - you can go on to a roof, block all the access points and laugh as she stomps around trying desperately to get you.

There is one way she can beat you when you do this. Last time I tried it, the building must have been on fire on the inside or something.
when It swapped over to the alien ruler's next turn the game played the sound file for the roof collapsing, all of my soldiers rag-dolled and fell through the floor, and then my PC crashed.

Anyways, here a new video that showcases what I'm working on at the moment. It's the grenade launcher animation for soldiers, but without that damn GL loading bit. I'm gonna put it to use with the RPG7 that I'm also working on.

Here's a fun fact: Did you know after the soldier loads the grenade launcher, one of his fingers (the index finger, I think) rotates 360 degrees before returning to the correct position? I thought it was me until I looked at the animation in Unreal.

I downloaded Jensen's body model and just deleted everything except for shades and then worked with those. The model that I downloaded has all body parts separate but no bones whatsoever. So it's more than possible to implement separate body parts I think. I can't see myself doing it though, that shit is probably so damn complicated :v: I like the idea of having augmented arms as a armour option though..
I'm surprised there aren't more cybernetic customisation mods for Xcom 2.
The only one I can think of besides the jensen's shades that just got posted is the cybernetic arm from that halo reach pack, and that only really works with a full on spartan theme.

You can use the current T3 arms with T1/2 armour sets to pull of the jensen look quiet convincingly, unfortunately the current mod that allows this is a resource hog but we do have the assets readily avalible, if i could download the tools i'd have a crack at it myself but it'll take me a month on my shit internet speed.

The Titanfall customisation pack has robolegs too.
And arms.
We should also port the Metal Gear Rising borgs and stuff. Gekkos for SPARKs anyone?

I though about it, but it would be a pain to rig the GEKKOs, RAY or even REX, plus I don't even have the skeleton to the SPARK (MECs might work, or sectopods if I do some clever rigging.)
The cyborgs and bosses, except for maybe Armstrong and Bladewolf, are doable. I thought about porting the swords, specifically Jetstream Sam's sword, but it doesn't have any texture or mesh from the pack I downloaded from here in the Modeling section.

You could always download them off the Garry's mod workshop and extract the gma then decompile them
You know what kind of mod I'd like? One where you can call in reinforcements. Either call in some extra of your guys, or call in some random fighters who'll either fight along side you as NPC, or be under your control.
It'd work well with some larger enemy mods.

I keep thinking there will be an officaial dlc of some sorts for 8 man squads, seeing as the skyranger has 8 seats in the back of it. though you can only see 7 in one veiw of the ship in game.
I have two questions, did anyone else make a unreasonable amount of characters for the character pool? My count is 121.
And did anyone else recreate their characters from XCOM EU/EW?

You can already mod it in. I have it to where I start out with 6 and upgrade to 8. Makes Commander a bit easier having 6 at the start.

I think I hit enough mods that the game stops loading certain sounds.
EDIT: Nope, it seems a mod is causing no dialogue to be loaded. Last mod I downloaded was the Deus Specs.
EDIT2: Some idiot turned my speaker setup to 5.1 instead of stereo.

Oh nah i'm aware of the mods, but i mean legit having 8 and the game menus / screens showing them.
Like in the back of the skyranger at the end and start of missions you only see 6 of your squad despite there being 2 extra seats just behind the camera, same with the squad selection screen only showing the first 6 soldiers though you can see their loadouts)

Also, did something happen and they increased Commander difficulty? Suddenly I feel like the fights are tougher and ADVENT just keeps killing my soldiers from covers. I don't remember game being this punishing on my last playthrough(which was before Alien Rulers DLC).
I am getting this error, every time i start my game now, any idea what it means? the most recent mods ive downloaded was the dues specs mod, the latest EU armor port mod and the latest tattoo mod

Does this mean that mods that unlock all armor customization options for. Haracters from the start no longer work?
