That's for X-COM 2 right and not longwar.
Long War 2.
Long War 2.
Shame.

Couple of things: I definitely dig infiltration over fatigue. Is there any real benefit for over-infiltrating? Less enemies? Is the option "graze brand" the % chance of grazing? How to income?

[editline]24th January 2017[/editline] Also XCom 2 seems to be the only game that really gets my laptop fans going. Not even newer games like Battlefield 1 do that.

So if you have a 75% shot to hit, a roll of 65% through to 85% will generate a graze instead of a hit. If you put it to 5 as an example, it'd be 70 through to 80.

Actually, on certain mission types, if you can handle the heat, you might want to not infiltrate fully, so you can actually get your hands on corpses etc. (Ambushes, Supply Raids, etc) The problem is that it is a fine balance between what you can handle and what will kick your ass.
Might as well roll yourself in butter and herbs because Advent is away to roast your ass.
I'd like to see someone do it though, I could only imagine the chaos.

Or do specific enemies have different graze bands?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/2mJIS8t.jpg[/t] Send help. What the hell is this red? It was working fine until I closed the game, changed some Grimy's Loot ini stuff, deleted the main config folder, and relaunched... e: I should mention this is a security breach mission.
You've infiltrated their home planet
It's like I'm playing No Man's Sky :v: Trying to verify my files but Steam refuses to download the 2 it says are corrupted.
I got an event to stop a dark event and get a load of supplies at the same time but I only had 4 hours to infiltrate and my 2 main squads were already doing shit so I just loaded up 8 rookies and 2 leftovers and rolled with 2% infil. It took 2 hours and a lot of luck but I'm now down to the last 5 advent, it has been a very tense battle slowly gaining ground against a shitload of advent. Praise be the flashbang, flamethrower and grenade. Truely the most useful of all tools, medkits are for casuals. It is starting to look like the map has been through weeks of artillery shelling. Suprisingly haven't lost a single rookie so far, gotta finish it later though.
I accidentally killed two civilians with SPARK's rocket. Is there a consequence for that?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/RYZQwDc.png[/t] Come the fuck on, Steam. The time just keeps going up, no progress is made, and it's not actually doing anything. e: it eventually finished and fixed that No-Man's-Sky-red shade.
Is there something out there for XCOM EU that's not Long War? I like some of Long War's changes and additions but I absolutely hate how much it draws out the game. I get that some people like the difficulty but its just not for me.
Out of curiosity, has anyone ever had the idea of a mod for xcom 2 to randomize soldiers weapon (Say during Gate Crasher, some soldiers carries regular weapons while others may carry mod Tier 1 Ballistic mod weapons)

It tends to fix itself if I mess around with the shadow quality options. Maybe it'll help you too temporarily?

yo i hear people really fucking hating Long War 2 and some people thinking it's decent but is it true every single mission is timed?

By default it changes the length of the campaign by 50%, but can be edited in the ini.
yo i hear people really fucking hating Long War 2 and some people thinking it's decent but is it true every single mission is timed?
I've just started and done about 4 missions and they were all timed. Some probably aren't. You can just get True Concealment for LW2. (I did.)
yo i hear people really fucking hating Long War 2 and some people thinking it's decent but is it true every single mission is timed?
Nope, there are a whole raft of mission types that aren't timed, a lot of them new (90% of them - this is actually a lot more untimed mission types than the base game had), its just that most of the missions you will play are the timed mission types from the base game.
Out of curiosity, has anyone ever had the idea of a mod for xcom 2?
My idea is still XCOM's Bizarre Adventure. Another idea is the Chryssalid outbreak mod. Remember back in Enemy Unknown when you go to the fishing village and call an air strike while there's Chryssalids and zombies everywhere? I'd like to bring that back, but this time with the Chryssalid king as well.

I had a cool idea for Chryssalids. Advent couldn't control them and kept hives of them locked down with flamethrowers and shit. A rare mission would be to divert Advent attentions by attacking these prisons in a cool three-way battle with Xcom vs Chryssalids vs Advent. Your goal is to cause a certain amount of losses before the Chryssalids get out of control, Advent try and recapture Chryssalids while stopping you and the feral Chryssalids eat everything and reproduce. I also hoped Big Sky would return and you could call in strafing runs and Airstrikes on buildings. I should say I had these hopes before Xcom 2 was released. I'll settle for Firebrand Airstrikes.
