Suddenly remembered how I fixed the stutter, now the game's smooth as butter. [t]https://i.imgur.com/7GqyTnF.png[/t] I'm absolutely in love with how flexible the photo booth is. Even pre-baked captions are decent, although it seems to prefer shitty fonts. Also managed to lose a rookie to Swarm on Lost and Abandoned, second part with Mox. Because missing two 87% and one 96% shots in a row isn't bullshit in the slightest, poor girl didn't stand a chance - got torn apart by three zombies. Apparently it was so embarrassing that she didn't get put into Memorial, and I now seem to permanently have a reminder that a certain Rk.McRookie got promoted in the corner of the Avenger menu, clicking on it brings up a blank promotion screen. Yay, Avenger is now haunted. Seems like I really wasn't actually supposed to lose anyone on what amounts to a tutorial mission, but it was filled to brim with that shit - constant 80-90% misses, pissing me off to no end.
photobooth is the best thing [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/Dxl3Xo.png[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/VC5MrB.png[/t] last one being an escort from the new VIP rescue missions I saved
I just had an explosive zombie created by the warlock be shot by a resistance member before I could react, blowing up half of my squad.
Is there a mod yet that makes it so Lost don't count toward "eliminate all enemy targets"? edit: also, anyone know what the slider for cap'n bub's accessories does?
i did western bdus last year for eggscom, and now i'm doing soviet uniforms remove ayy
In beaglerush's Mass Effect stream, he was talking about those hecu ports from hl1 you teased a while back. He wants to do a full HECU run of XCOM 2 with those if you still have them somewhere.
I fucking love this expansion. [t]https://i.imgur.com/FRQ4Tr4.jpg[/t]
edit: also, anyone know what the slider for cap'n bub's accessories does?
Like any other added slider, it controls the frequency with which fancy new accessories appear on randomly generated soldiers. [editline]1st September 2017[/editline] Yay more gimmick squads!
;52638242']ï will remake them with the invisible heads mod in mind, as to avoid big head mode -HECU is happening again hell yeah- i will also remake barneys -best cop- i'll do hl1 guns, too, if i can figure them out
GOD. DAMN. I know then you've got a lot on your plate, but any possibility of using the models from the High Definition pack? If its a question of getting them into half-life source for an easier port, someone's already done that here. (Although the HECU camo is a bit off for whatever reason, but you can pull the right camo from the HLDM source hd model pack here) Again, I understand you dropped modding for xcom for a while, and how annoying requests are all the time. I get it if you don't want to take on more porting and burn yourself out again.
FIRE. TEAM. IN. YOUR. ASS. Nah, I don't think I'll be doing the HD pack models, someone else's gonna have to do that shit up. I like the old crappy models because they look so goofy and out of place within xcom 2, it greatly amuses me you see.
Okay, who said that about the chosen being balanced and fair ? Because i've met the hunter on a supply mission and i wouldn't call being sniped from across the map through cover, fog and all manner of defensive bonus "fair". Seriously, this is some incredible bullshit for a mission like this.
Trying to do some testing of the soviet uniforms and I'm getting this
Done building project "Soviet_Uniforms.x2proj" -- FAILED.
N i c e
;52638597']Trying to do some testing of the soviet uniforms and I'm getting this
Done building project "Soviet_Uniforms.x2proj" -- FAILED.
N i c e
Might be an obvious question, but are you using any scripts? Also, run modbuddy in admin mode. Here's some more solutions: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/6xbhhd/error_when_trying_to_build_solution/
I'm literally getting
Success - 0 error(s), 0 warning(s) (0 Unique Errors, 0 Unique Warnings)
though [editline]2nd September 2017[/editline] Also, what exactly do you mean by scripts? I have all the names in the .ini files and .uc set properly too btw

The only thing that comes to mind is that the paths aren't set properly. Otherwise, I don't know. I might have to dig up some info on this.
A stun lancer just poked one of my guys through a solid wall. No windows or breaks nearby. edit: and I just went to rescue the last civvie (who turned out to be a faceless) on a retal mission, which triggered "vision" of a pod THROUGH A FULL BRICK WALL. :suicide: How did they fuck up LOS so bad?
Did you move out of his cone of fire? He takes a turn to fire his rifle.
Couldn't because i was dealing with two pods + zombies. The chosen isn't even that bad, i just got particularly mad since the tip tells you that hunker down is a valid strategy but even with aid protocol my soldier got hit and almost killed.
God-damn the assasin fucked my shit up. I can't deal with a single purifier cause I had to spend all my shit on that prickly cunt.

I love bringing three grenadiers into Assassin's territory. Bending Reed more like Bend Over when I fucking nuke your stupid little hidey hole without even having line of sight on you
After a mod problem, it seems like I have to start a new campaign. No worries though, because I think I found a better look for my forces. Black BDUs and red berets! It kind of reminds me of drug lords for some reason, but my brother in law told me they look like Indonesian Special Forces. Anyways, here's some propaganda. [t]https://i.imgur.com/TIeDgav.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/jE9Vbgg.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/FDxSLaS.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/JYsxJrs.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/d5L3Gjf.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/C6Rp4XE.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/iGcDG4B.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/olZO71Z.png[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/Ek7VeBr.png[/t] Naturally, some of the slogans were the standard, randomly generated ones. Others I input manually, as is tradition. Once I figured out how to use the posterize effect, I went a little...overboard, I guess. :v: Also, in regards to one of the memorial posters... [sp]The one about "The Hero we needed" is pure propaganda, he didn't die a heroic death at all. He was on the roof of a building and an ADVENT trooper shot at him, missed, but blew the floor out from underneath him, causing him to fall to his death.[/sp]
From my experience, wherever the Chosen Assassin cloaks. They'll usually be around in that area. Bring either a battle scanner and throw it near where they cloak, or bring a specialist with scanning protocol and activate it near where they cloack as they'll be revealed. Flanking the Assassin as any class will also reveal them.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/7rpXhuT.jpg[/t] These people didn't need help
Some new aspects of this expansion are baffling. Currently I have the assassin chosen dropping in on me. It doesn't draw overwatch fire. It can run in, slash one of my soldiers, summon a MEC, and disappear in a single turn. Not sure I have anything that can counter this.
These people didn't need help
What are they feeding those guys, holy shit.
Welp, debug mode refuses to launch, but here's an early test of the soviet uniform shit since it still builds the mod
