Those look way different from any SNES carts I've ever seen
Those are PAL carts
Those are PAL carts
Wow, PAL and JAP share the same, sleeker cartridge designs than the bulkier US ones. Never knew that.
US carts are better because you can stack them. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] and make a big SNES cart fortress
Does anybody know if Dark Cloud runs well on a PS2 emulator? I remember playing it ages ago when it came out.
Yes and No. Yes, in that there is absolutely no visual glitches or engine errors. No in that it run very slow in certain portions unless you have a ton of processing power. For some reason, I get terrible frame rate. I was deeply saddened when I discovered my computer could not run it on a constant 60fps, but it is possible for other computers.

Not as great. OS: Windows 7 Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor 3.00 GHz Memory: 4.00 GB Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5570
I bought another PSP after my first one broke just so I could run emulators on it. Been playing a lot of SNES and GBA games on it.

I watched some cutscenes and walked around a little bit. Very smooth. A few places here and there where you can hear the music slow down, but it's running pretty good for me compared to some other games. Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz 1023MB GeForce GTX 560 Ti 4 gigs of RAM I think I have some speedhacks on too, though.
I've been replaying the old Megamans So far up to 8
Making a mod
that looks beautiful, I'd definitely use it
I've been replaying the old Megamans So far up to 8
I have never once in my life played a Mega-Man game. I feel kinda bad for not doing so.
What's the best version of Mega man? I know there are several reissues but which has the most improvements?
Can I ask why we have something recommended like BSNES before ZSNES? You have to jump through hoops just to get a game working on it. Maybe I'm just retarded but how the fuck do you get games to actually work on it?
You know you don't have to use the most recommended emulator, you know. I don't have a problem with znes so I'm going to keep using it.
Just in case anybody is interested, PCSX2 1.0 Just got released. http://pcsx2.net/244-pcsx2-1-0-released.html

I want functioning Xbox emulators. Are there any reasons of why we don't got them yet?
I want functioning Xbox emulators. Are there any reasons of why we don't got them yet?
short answer: 2 complex
Just in case anybody is interested, PCSX2 1.0 Just got released. http://pcsx2.net/244-pcsx2-1-0-released.html
I just came in here to post that, it fixed the Thunder plains battle bug for me, so now I get to play FFX again! :D
I want functioning Xbox emulators. Are there any reasons of why we don't got them yet?
There are three Xbox emulators out there.. - Xeon - Cxbx - Dxbx Here's the compatibility list http://shogun3d-cxbx.blogspot.com/20...t-updated.html To be honest though, Xbox emulation is shit and (I suspect) will be shit for a very long time. Generally because it's very complex. People have been working on it since it came out, I would think... but if it's taken this long to get maybe 3-4 games working, imagine how long it will take to get Xbox360 emulators to work. edit: On another note, I've recently updated the thread with Amiga and Commodore 64 information, as well as a Legal Software Repo for the Amiga. In a few days i'll try and do a major update on Mac and Linux emulation, as well as add a few more emulators to the list.
Went to Swedens biggest flea market with my girlfriend and made a good find: [IMG_thumb]http://niggaupload.com/images/gOhf0.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Got these 4 and a working SNES + controllers for 500 swedish kr. Anyone know the best emulater settings for ePSXe 1.7.0 for Final Fantasy Tactics?
Anyone know the best emulater settings for ePSXe 1.7.0 for Final Fantasy Tactics?
I think I played it just with "fast" settings plus a bit bigger internal resolution. The different texture settings made the characters look a bit weird. My world map was black most of the time though.
