Has anybody been able to add Playstation 2 to Hyperspin?
Most games work with Project 64 with the Glide 64 Napalm WX video plugin. At least for me. There are just some few games that are really glitchy with it. Only ones that come across my mind is Mario Tennis and Conker's Bad Fur Day.
Anyways, since n64 games are easier to find than snes and nes games when theres a n64 game I really want to try I just buy it and play it on my n64. It's just too bad Conker's Bad Fur Day is so rare and sought after.
Conkers Bad Fur Day works fine for me, the only issues I have with it are occasional camera angles issues and the pause menu has static as its background instead of a still shot of the game.
Funny you should say that, I actually own 2 copies. One I got when the game came out, another from when my sister's boyfriend came to my house and forgot it there.
Lucky me, I guess. You could try emulating the Xbox remake, although I don't know if anything is changed or if it's even the same game.
Unfortunately, Xbox emulation is a terrible mess. However you'll be happy to know that the only differences to the Xbox version of Conkers Bad Fur Day is;
1) An entirely reworked multiplayer
2) A slightly modified section of the Singleplayer story that breaks the fourth wall and indicates that this it is a remake of the N64 version
3) Improved configuration options and Xbox live support.
Any good Dreamcast emulators?
Chankast is good. Sometimes Dreamcast emulators have major issues, it isn't the most worked on section of game emulation, but it's not bad.
is chankast better than nulldc in any way? i see that chankast hasn't been updated since 2004 so i'm a bit wary
So how does the wiimote work with emulation? I know there's a way to just use a wiimote, but can you use the mouse or something as well?

You lucky person you. I would buy it off you but I only have $25 dollars. Also yeah they changed some stuff for the worse in the xbox remake. They took out a lot of the curse words, took out the great mighty poo song, took out the original multiplayer modes. Along with some other stuff.
[editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
Also who needs a Dreamcast emulator when Dreamcasts are seriously dirt cheap. Also if you can't find any games for it, you can always download them and just rip them to a blank CD because Dreamcast had no burned disk protection.

If you beat the game, you can unlock the swear words.

nullDC is a less reliable program, but a more reliable game emulator. You can run into issues more often with it, but if you don't care about those, use it instead of Chankast.

i do have a dreamcast and some games, but i wanted something to do waiting for something on the computer
i tried backups and only ones that take a bootdisk work, no selfbooting ones. i think it might have something to do with having a minimum burnspeed of 16x.
I'm think of getting a SNES and Gameboy color emulator. Any good games for each emulators? Trying to pass the time for my last weeks of summer.
Try some snes classics: Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy III (it's actually VI, but the English version is III), Zelda Link to the Past, etc.
And for the gameboy play the Wario Land games!
I highly recommend King of Dragons and Knights of the Round for Super Nintendo. They're great sidescrolling hack-n-slash games, and a lot of fun with two people (provided you have a wired controller or something of the like).
ZSNES is your most recommended SNES emulator? Seriously? If you don't want to recommend BSNES for whatever reason you aren't recommending it for, then swap ZSNES with SNES9x. The latest builds on the forum are much more accurate than ZSNES.
ZSNES is ancient. It is highly inaccurate, and hasn't been updated in forever.
I do use it though, since ZSNES has a really weird window.
Wait znes is not good? What should I use then?
Would Nemu64 be more recommended than Project 64 if I have the hardware for it?
I'd recommend BSNES. If you can't run the accuracy profile, use compatibility(much faster than accuracy, no noticeable difference for most games). It's the most accurate SNES emulator available. 100% compatibility(only SNES emulator to do so) and no game specific hacks.
If you don't want to use BSNES, then try the latest SNES9x:
Would Nemu64 be more recommended than Project 64 if I have the hardware for it?
Nemu64 has been lagging behind in development. If it shows compatibility for your game, and you have the hardware to run it, then use it. It's just the matter of Project64 having a much larger support range.
If I could ever find an emulator for Harvest Moon 64, that would be all I play. Sadly, I have yet to find one that is free. ):

Why don't you use Project64?
I'm having a problem with a game in PCSX2.
The game is Final Fight Streetwise. I don't know but there are many graphical glitches in the game. They disappear when I put it on slow motion. Does anyone have this problem?

I fucking loathe ZSNES because it has such a fucking horrendous GUI.
BSNES 4 LYFE.
Is there any way to use all my .smc files in BSNES? Every time I try to load a game it only looks for .sfc files.
[editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
Nevermind used snespurify
What exactly are they doing here?
Basically some dude found a let's play of a mario world hack that was impossible to watch because the dude kept reloading savestates over and over again, and decided to make this video to explain why.
It's like retsupurae I guess, but with less effort.
As for how it's relevant to this thread, other than being in SNES9X, I honestly couldn't tell you.
Edit:
Actually now that I take a closer look, it actually is retsupurae.
I'm playing through Chrono Trigger right now.
Omg why don't they make RPG's like this anymore?
Emulation on the DS is pretty brilliant right now. They managed to get Windows 3.1 and all sorts of other old DOS games working. There was also this project to port quake/half-life by some sketchy European site if I remember correctly, but no one understood a thing.
Why don't you use Project64?
OMG, playing Harvest Moon 64 right now without fault!

Well BSNES can't open RAR files or SMC files, which is basically my entire collection of SNES Roms. And I read up his reasons why he won't support them and it comes off as bitchy excuses. Going to try snes9x and if that's the same I am sticking to ZSNES because I never had any problems with it.
[editline]19th July 2012[/editline]
Alright snes9x seems cool and without that crazy GUI. Supports RAR files too.

Still didn't fix the problem. Although I can't find the option to enable HW hacks. I edited the GSdx.ini and it doesn't show the options you posted.
Also, has anyone played Sly 2 and had a problem with the music not playing? I've searched but I can't find a fix for it.
Dolphin is by far my favorite emulator so far. It just works so well.
Right now I'm playing Super Paper Mario, and it is emulating surprisingly well.
The only issues I am having are slight graphical glitches with doors and some crowds.
Playing with an actual Wiimote via Bluetooth and I have a sensor bar above my monitor.

Dolphin always ends up making the audio either go completely out of sync or be stuttering all the time if it's not running at 60 fps. I really wanted to play House of the Dead Overkill on it, but I just couldn't find a way to make the audio work fine.
Oh, well that does actually remind me that there was an audio glitch once or twice where staying in one area for too long caused the music to player over itself, which did get very annoying.
