[sp]it super boggles my mind how much work was put into making this so varied and unique for everyone. say what you want about 'choices not really mattering' but with all the small details here and there it's just insane how much possible permutations there could be! also probably one of the best credits ever in a videogame. mad hats to supergiant. wasn't really a fan of Bastion or Transistor (mostly due to the gameplay really) but have always been a supporter 'cause of their superior quality. one of my favorite games this year!!![/sp]
Amazing game, just finished it a couple of minutes ago. I love how many differences (small & big) there are depending on your choices throughout the game. The gameplay was super fun and allowed for a lot of different strategies. Sountrack is GOD TIER. Especially the voiced ones. I instantly put the songs in my spotify playlist after finishing the game. My only complaint is that the game is now over.
I've been too busy recently, but I know I need to finish this game sooner rather than later, before I get too rusty.
Just started recently playing Pyre myself. Great game so far. However I need to ask: Can we categorise the game as Visual Novel? Not a classic VN, but as a complex one like Silver Case or Ace Attonery games.
I'd probably say you could call it a Visual Novel/Sports Game hybrid. Because that's kind of what it is in a way.
