I... did it! Don't mind the face, i was a bit frustrated that i had to repeat multiple times Act 1 of Chapter 2 for that perfect run :v:

I don't know what I was expecting.

Just saw that on this:

Looks like someone's working on a more proper Whomp's Fortress, completed with Thwomps and whatnot.

[QUOTE=eatdembeanz;52800026]I figured out why the Alpine Skyline theme sounded so nostalgic and pleasant to me. AHiT's got such a nicely variable soundtrack that it surprises me what influences it's taken.

FFCC is one of my all time favorite game soundtracks, and when I first climbed into Alpine Skyline, my grin skyrocketed. It was absolutely delightful.
I finally bought the game

have some spicy buns
Anyone know how to beat, or even get to the first mushroom in the secret route on the Wet Mushroom Heaven level?

You have to [sp]dive and slide down the slope and time a boost hop off the ledge below. You should get a ton of speed from that, and you keep your speed on mushroom bounces.[/sp]

This is true high fashion befitting of a mysterious movie diva.
So what's with the pulsing graffiti (snake(?) and mafia face) in Subcon Forest? Nothing else like them appears in the rest of the game as far as I can tell.

i think something went wrong when i was playing custom maps
Yeah, both Wet Mushroom Heaven and Beta Hero Challenge gave me a timepiece, putting me at 105% completion.
[editline]22nd October 2017[/editline]
None of the other workshop maps gave me a "real" timepiece though.
Man the bosses in this game are fantastic.
The [sp]Conductor[/sp] is especially great!
World 3 boss was my favorite by far, fucking love the music.
I like fighting the final boss. I hope for some more extreme custom boss stages.
[sp]Both bosses[/sp] of world 3 was super fun.
I also cleared Wet Mushroom Hell after like 3 hours.
I bonked on the last cheese and if you fall off on the last stage [sp]you go ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE START[/sp]
Nothing like getting through the long platforming sections right before the [sp]Conductor[/sp] boss fight and having the game crash 2 attacks in, resulting in having to redo the entire mission.
Also if you let [sp]DJ Grooves win instead of the conductor, do you get an entirely different scenario or does it just merge back to Conductor and his story line?[/sp]

[sp]It's the same bossfight but with DJ Grooves instead. Same moves and everything.[/sp]

If you're running the game on Ultra quality, turn it down a notch. That's the most common cause of crashes from what I've witnessed.

It's funny, the first time I played I wanted the Conductor to win, but I kept doing so well on DJ Grooves missions that I couldn't get the Conductor's score high enough. Ultimately I'm sort of glad he won since [sp]the Conductor is portrayed as the good guy in that boss fight.[/sp]
Plus it's fun to listen to him yell [sp]"I hate you, darling!"[/sp] when he dies.

You can thank the Hat Discord for finding it though.
hell yes. thanks!
I think I screwed up my game somehow. I can't change the DoF or Filters in Camera mode, and the lighting in all the levels seems to be broken. Verifying the cache said nothing was wrong, and opting out of the mod beta didn't seem to fix it.
I've seen a trailer for this game but nothing more, is it worth the money? It seems pretty fun but with big games like Shadow of War and Wolfenstein out/coming out I'm kinda strapped for cash.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, yes.
Hey would you guys recommend the GoG version or the Steam version? I bought the steam version on impulse but found out it's on GoG also and I'm not sure if it would be worth it to get a refund and get the GoG version. DRM free is in fact the shit, and I love gog icons, but I'm not sure if all mods would work or if I'd be missing out on something.
I personally think you should stick with the Steam version for convenience. I'm pretty sure you can still do mods and stuff on the GoG version but you'll have to get your hands on the mod files yourself. I'd imagine the majority of mods are gonna be on workshop though. No idea if you'll be able to access them without owning the game.

Save for Wolfenstein imo. Hat in Time is great but really feels unfinished.

Hopefully the free dlc will fix that, because yeah the last 2 chapters were kinda rushed.
Anyway I'd say the tight, fun as hell platforming alone makes it worth the price.
