I agree, the game was short, but for $30 I've gotten 30 hours out of this game and I haven't had this much fun with a game in [I]years[/I].
If you're not sure about buying the game, look up some gameplay on it. The platforming feels wonderful, and you can almost see it in good videos too.

it's good but it's pretty short. I'd wait for a sale tbh. by the time that rolls around and you've got more cash there will be plenty of mods to play with

I used to pick all my games, because I was broke, based on how many hours of gameplay they'd give me. Mostly RPGs as a result, and games like don't starve. There are fantastic ones and all, but I've got 34 hours in Psychonauts, 32 in Grim Fandango, and it's had way more impact on me than the 334 I have in Skyrim.
Sometimes it's not about how much time you can get out of it but how much oomph you'll get out of every hour. Besides thanks to emulation there's gameplay time isn't really relevant cause there's always SOMETHING you could be playing any hour of the day

Well with the power of Workshop levels I managed to get enough Rift Tokens to unlock everything.

Also sadly theres no alternative to the Time Hat, and there's only one alternative to the Brewing Hat.
I need to uninstall my cosmetic items and try to go for the rest of the slot machine items. a lot of mods just adds stuff to the slot machine

I believe it still does. I haven't tried it myself with the recent update.
Now my game crashes on startup after the last update.

Go to HatinTime/HatinTimeGame/SaveData and just grab the save file and save it somewhere else before you reinstall.
