Apparently those Rare stickers are once a day thing and you can get shiny versions of regulat ones that you have.
Yeah this sorta killed my interest in playing again unless I can find a way to cheat it in or they patch it. It's what gates the Rumbi Factory time rift and now I just can't get there. I'm already 40 hours into this save and I don't wanna redo the entire game and all my Deathwish challenges only for one level, and I don't feel like wasting any more time in the DLC knowing that I won't be able to complete it.
Latest patch notes suggest it has been fixed, but I don't know if it is fixed for people already affected by the bug.
The number of Time Pieces in Nyakuza can really sequence break the game if you use online parties to get some of them early. I haven't even completed all of the Owl Express missions yet, barely touched Alpine Skylines, and completed only two missions for Subcon Forest while clearing out everything but the race in Mafia Town, but i've already "beaten the game" in terms of hitting the requirement for the Finale and then clearing the final boss fight.
My first time playing I skipped Alpine Skylines entirely to go right to the finale. Not that I was in a rush to finish the game, I literally started a new file right after the credits I love the game so much.
I will be honest, Alpine Skyline feels like a forgettable Crash Bandicoot level that just never fucking ends. It’s so bland and empty, an like double the length of every other world
I massively appreciate that every world in the game felt like a love letter to other games, but Alpine had no charm
Alpine Skyline is my favorite area...
It feels less "empty" to me and more serene with a lot of nice scenery and chill music. Also having the center area's theme sound a lot like a track from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles gave it a lot of bonus points for me.
Yeah, I really like Alpine Skyline, and the music is just top tier.
So those holographic stickers area. once a day thing, and it gave me the message that one appeared in Arctic Cruise and I find find it at all, and the Relic Badge isn't working, which it did worked on my first 2 holo. I was on a Online Party room so that might have bugged it.
Alpine Skyline is fine, only thing I didn't like was the Final Act. Twilight Bell and Windmill were some of the best challenging platforming in the game.
Bring on the 50 player hat battle royale. I'm ready.
Im 80 hours in and I've still haven't finished Death Wish. Cruisin' for a Bruisin' is making me lose my mind, and Ultra Snatcher is no joke even with Peace and Tranquility.
Crash Bandicoot is hella linear, though...

My favorite in Alpine Skyline.
Alpine Skyline is great for the platforming challenges, but fucking dreadful to explore around, those long hooklines travels get boring fast, I was so done with the level after looking for the snatcher coins for that deathwish
I have to wonder how Sand n Sails would've been if they managed to find a way to make traversing it fun. The music is stellar, and the theme of the world is great.
Also have to wonder what the devs thought of Tostarena in Mario Odyssey, seeing as it's basically the same idea as Sand n Sails.
I think the Beat the Heat Death Wish (the very first one) might be what Sand n Sails was going to be with the “water bottle” mechanic that was found in the data, except it lasted longer of course. They probably realized that keeping that bottle filled so you don’t die in the dessert wasn’t as fun as they thought to be.
Yeah, it seems as though they relocated it. I'm good to go.
