Can live with the slight voice change for Chloe, shes obviously younger so kind of works. Though I cant help but feel like the animations are a little janky? Everything looks a little more plastic too.
My biggest concern is that it seems like Rachel & new Chloe sound exactly the same. It was really hard to distinguish who was talking in the binoculars scene.

For the longest time watching that trailer I was thinking "why is Max in this??" until I realized that's Chloe, they look so insanely similar when they have basically the same haircut.
If I have to be honest, how are you supposed to capture the charm of the original if the main gameplay element of said game, the time-rewind mechanic, is now gone? What makes Life is Strange any different from the other videogames of the same genre now?
It was also a huge point in favor of the game, as far as I was concerned.
About the plot premise, I guess I can give it a try

Odds are the Horizon stuff was recorded a while ago. Seeing as LiS is episodic, the VA recording probably calls for an actor who can show up to record lines written relatively late in the dev cycle (of each episode?). The strike kinda fucks that up.

I've been hearing about the ending of the 5th episode being pretty bad, so I'm wondering if I should just pretend that that moment is the ending of the story and leave it at that or not.

As much as I don't like to do such things when it comes to fiction, I wouldn't entirely blame you for it. Else, you'd had to go through an ending which teaches you to put your own professional success and life achievements on the line to save people's from their own responsabilities and that inaction is the greatest virtue. And I don't think I'm exaggerating

To be honest, I didn't dislike the final episode per se (yes, even the unexpected gameplay change sequences), nor the ending itself (mind you though, I chose the [sp]"Let Chloe die"[/sp] finale).
However, there is something to be said about a game keeping building a certain aesop (a moral) for four episodes straight and then throw it all out of the window in its final minutes

I decided to finish watching the rest of the episode, and here's my thoughts on the ending.
While I can totally see how people would find [sp]both of the endings[/sp] to be anticlimactic, I didn't feel that at least the ending for [sp]sacrificing Chloe[/sp] was as bad as I was expecting it to be. I was thinking that Max would've had to keep all the prior knowledge about [sp]what Jefferson and the Prescotts were doing and etc[/sp] to herself in order to let time go by naturally, judging by your post.
This handmade Chloe plush I ordered form Etsy finally arrived. I fucking love it, but I'm sad they weren't selling a Max to go with it.

Wait, do all 3 chapters [I]Before the Storm[/I] cost in it's entirety 17$? Because that would mean that before the storm charges about .66 cents more per episode. The original Life Is Strange costs 20$ for the full thing (W/O Summer Sale prices), with 5$ per episode (because the first is free). Before the Storm costs 17$, which is about 5.66 per episode. I mean I guess it IS more, buuuuut.....

What the, I thought the 1050 was more powerful, it seems to be slightly more powerful than my 3 year old R9 270x GPU.
