Yeah I'm looking at this game thinking if I should play it or not. Considering the most popular preview image I see for the game is a highschool chick smoking a joint and a really ~~artsy~~ trailer I really can't say I have the highest of possible opinions.
Obviously it isn't a bad game though considering I've seen many opinions like yours.
Yeah if you get through the dialogue of cringe it's a really fun experience.

Yeah, what I meant was it isn't always cringe, it just happens every now and then. Although I don't recall anything like that in Episode 2.

If you're not 100% sure I'd recommend getting the standalone first episode, you'll have to pay a little more for the whole season if you buy the first episode seperately but at least you won't waste too much of your money if you don't enjoy it.
The episode is now available on pc and ps4 I think, it will be added to the other storefronts during the day.

Man, the scenes in Blackwell at night were just done so well, the atmosphere was great.
Right so got the game and played it...
So... about the ep3 ending. Wow.
This game done fucked me up. I thought we'd get a fairly simple mix of [sp]Being chased by David or Nathan thru the school[/sp] and it turning into [sp]Max & Chloe on the run, kicked from Blackwell[/sp] but god damn it was I not expecting that ending. If thats canon I am so done.
Although (possible big spoilers ahead!) [sp]the likelyhood of Max/Chloe ship being a thing? Hell yes.[/sp]

I actually wasn't paying too much attention to [sp]the money, I thought the principal was just holding it back for himself or something.
I sided with David because I still thought he might knew some things[/sp]
Also it's funny how much percentages can change, when I finished the episode 66% of the people [sp]sided with David[/sp] but now it's around 19%.
[sp]I sided with David because although he's fucking odd I feel really bad for him. Also yeah that fucking ending I wonder how the hell that happened. I wonder if we get a choice of what world we decide to live in or something[/sp]

I have a feeling this outcome wont stick. It seems way too off kilter, almost makes the first 2 episodes pointless.

He says that [sp]Kate's suicide will also have consequences in episode 4, I guess that means Kate is alive in the new timeline which would cause simply reversing the changes to result into another death.[/sp]

Holy shit, that ending was actually insane and really unexpected. I wonder if [sp] they will somehow quickly put us back on the tracks of the original timeline or if we will be in this new timeline for a while / for the rest of the episodes.[/sp]
[sp]I knew preventing William from dying was way too drastic of a change to be made that far back in time, but the only option was to save him. I suspected saving him would quickly be undone rather than absolutely everything being drastically different. I wonder if we will go back to let him die again or if we are trapped in this new timeline for a while.[/sp]
This was another really good episode, I'm absolutely loving this game.

Wild guessing: [sp]In the outro you see Chloe getting a car. Maybe she drove less carefully than in the original timeline, and got into an accident? Though she isn't exactly a model driver in the original timeline either...[/sp]

Perhaps Max stayed in contact in this timeline? Or Chloe's been abandoned by everyone except her parents so she's overjoyed to see Max? I'm finding myself incredibly interested in what this New Chloe will bring to the table, and whether or not Dontnod will properly utilize her potential.[/sp]
