Oh baby does this mean Battle Frontier 3.0 confirmed?
If so then I hope Battle Frontiers will be a permanent feature of the series going into the Switch era after this game. Battle Frontiers like in Emerald, HGSS, and Platinum are good ways to extend the end game to near infinite content. They could make online leaderboards, multiplayer facilities, downloadable facilities, good end game rewards like cosmetics, etc. Emerald, HGSS, and Platinum are my favorite games because of their extensive aftergames. If USUM has battle frontier and other end game content, then it'll probably be my favorite.
Were any of those games the first of a generation?

They should go ALLxOUT with post-game content, as those without a Switch will be stuck with USUM until they get one.
On second thought, maybe they won't and want everyone to make the Switch asap because $$$.

I know, it's just that these games will mark the end of an era. The last of the handheld main series. The main series will likely move to the Switch, be on pseudo consoles, and start the eighth generation. This game is going to be the last on the 3DS. We may not see another version of the DS. It'd be good to make this game a send off to the 3DS if it's truly the last on the 3DS. Include a fantastic end game, a fantastic main game, and make the 3DS go out triumphantly with a great library of games that spanned more than half a dozen years. I liked BW2, but I don't feel like it was a sendoff to the original DS despite it being a good game on its own. I want USUM to be a great time till Pokemon Switch is announced.
The first question got me real excited for a moment then I realized that the video is pointless.

Whether or not if that is a HUGE coincidence and if we do get some new ones, I want new alolan forms that aren't just Kanto pokemon.

I hope region forms are a thing to stay in the series. It's a good way to make further interest in Pokemon from previous gens that are popular or underrated. Honestly I'd love if regions forms are used mostly for more underrated, underused, or unpopular Pokemon.

TPC PR person says the interview within is correct, the title about no new Alolan forms is "misleading". Game Freak was asked if there was going to be a new Eevee evolution in USM, and Game Freak responded no, then these guys took that as "Well no more Alolan forms!"

I hear whispers of the supposed Chinese leaker that teased much of Sun and Moon's content giving hints towards a Grass type or Grass/Poison getting an Alolan form, but that seems to be unconfirmed.
I hope Game Freak removes calling aid from the Switch Pokemon game.
But nobody came.
Though seriously, most of the time that happens to be no help showing up.

Nah, that's the one thing that makes wild battles interesting, instead they should remove that abritary rule that you can't even attempt to catch pokemon if there's more than one present.

Sort of 'definitive edition' for 3DS eh? Let's see what more they are offering on the next info dump.
While I do like all the new content, I have a sinking feeling on how they are going to be presented in game.
Seems like they are pulling the "alternate dimension!" card, which I'm not a fan of.
