I'm going to assume that Burst/Assembly are encountered during the story, but is it actually a prominent arc or is it just another "they show up and you see them for 5 seconds" kind of thing? Poipole (Adhesive) is a gift as soon as you beat Ultimate Necrozma, but you can deny the gift and can pick it up later so it can be reset for shininess.[/sp]

They're not meant to be encountered and battled/caught then, but are saved for postgame? If so, that's mega lame.[/sp]

However, Hau is with Hala when Burst/Assembly comes and Koko attacks them, and they show Phermosa/Buzzwole against Olivia, Xurkitree against Hapu, and Guzzlord against Nanu.[/sp]

Move spoilers [sp]Just like Oshawott, Farfetch'd gets an egg move that requires the use of Smeargle, First Impression.[/sp] Post-game spoilers [sp]Shininess in the Ultra Wormholes is at best forcable if you go 3,200 lightyears or better in the minigame and enter a wormhole who has a sparkling ring around it. I don't know if this guaranteed but I have heard that purple wormholes guarantee a shiny legendary/UB.[/sp] [sp]Guzzlord, Stakataka (Assembly) and Blacephalon (Burst) share a world, so they should be capturable in the same place.[/sp] [sp]Giovanni is listed as a Trainer in either the new Battle Factory thing or is a new partner at the Battle Tree. Ash is listed, and let me be clear about this, lacks a model and does not appear anywhere in the game.[/sp]

So it's come to another decision made by Game Freak that I question what the hell they were thinking. Not so much in a negative light this time, just a general "Excuse me, what?". Spoilers related to certain monsters below. [sp]The Rockruff that you can get that evolves exclusively into Dusk Lycanroc can be bred, so if you want a certain nature you can just breed for it. It also accepts every kind of Pokeball, so if you want an Own Tempo Rockruff in a Beast Ball, just catch a Rockruff with one and breed them. Its stats are the same as Midday's (75/115/65/55/65/112) except +2 Attack and -2 Speed (so 75/117/65/55/65/110) and for tutors it has the same pool as Lycanroc Midday except it also gets Outrage.[/sp]

Just like you were forced to buy a link cable, which was worth several years of Bank, as well as a second Game Boy (several decades of Bank). You could also have external storage, provided you had a N64/Gamecube, the way of hooking the GB/GBA games to them, AND the game in those consoles that allowed for storage and transfer between games. Hell, you needed 2 DS to transfer from gen 4 to 5. You needed 2 Game Boys to transfer from gen 1 to 2, and those were trades (granted, there were tradebacks, and elepunches and egg moves in gen I as a result). But Bank is the ripoff it seems.
