But Bank is the ripoff it seems.
Uh yeah we paid full price for the games we are entitled for the full experience™
But Bank is the ripoff it seems.
I mean, having all those options removed and being forced to use another feature when I already have all those things is sort of a bitch move on nintendos part. I think we've gone through this before, but things like trading up Pokemon from previous generations should be free and the bank space increase (And the occasional special event pokemon) should be the thing you pay for.
They moved the electric level up area to Blush Mountain and unlocked the very bottom of Mount Lanakila so you don't have to wait till the end of the game to get Vikavolt and Crabominable. They also fixed Heavy Ball Tapus and Beldum. :toot: No word on the Safari Ball Pokemon. Also Marowak still has to wait to get Shadow Bone. Finally, post-game spoilers. [sp]Raichu, Exeggutor, and Marowak can be obtained in their Kanto forms if you use the wormholes and go to any different area.[/sp]
Nah, you are forced to buy a second 3DS, which is worth several decades of Bank. Just like you were forced to buy a link cable, which was worth several years of Bank, as well as a second Game Boy (several decades of Bank). You could also have external storage, provided you had a N64/Gamecube, the way of hooking the GB/GBA games to them, AND the game in those consoles that allowed for storage and transfer between games. Hell, you needed 2 DS to transfer from gen 4 to 5. You needed 2 Game Boys to transfer from gen 1 to 2, and those were trades (granted, there were tradebacks, and elepunches and egg moves in gen I as a result). But Bank is the ripoff it seems.
I mean, not to be a devil's advocate, but you needed multiple consoles back then due to hardware limitations. You could only have one game on your GameBoy, nor could you store data on the GameBoy itself. However, I have two fullsized Pokemon games installed on my 3DS. I can have a third "on there" if I just pop in my Pokemon Y cartridge. The 3DS then has access to the data to all three of those games at once. It can transfer Pokemon from one game to another, if Nintendo made an app for it. Just like how DPPt/HGSS was able to transfer from RSE/FRLG, just from having the game inserted. It was the one time we had the ideal set up: You have both games? And they can both be in the console at once? You're good to go. There's no need for a server service for that. Storing Pokemon in a bank is different, but transfering is 100% possible with single 3DS, Nintendo just didn't chose to do it. Even storing Pokemon in a bank on a service isn't necessary. A side client app that stores the Pokemon locally would have been ideal. I'd rather not be blocked from my Pokemon just because I have no internet. Of course, they'd likely charge for this app, but they charged for Pokemon Box and My Pokemon Ranch, as well. The subscribtion charge at $5 a year is negligible, though, so I'm not bitching about the price. Just wondering "okay but why that way?"

Preordered Ultra Sun. I just really want Buzzwole and Burst, and Dusk Mane looks cooler than Dawn Wings. I'm sorry, Shit Brick House. I'll have to get you through trades.

The Alolan Blue exclusives were already obtainable in Tapu Village. However, Drampa in UM, and the Lanakila ice types, seem to be still endgame material, like Glaceon. Also, endgame spoilers: [sp]No Zygarde cell tracking: You catch a 50% Zygarde as sanity intended, then Dexio gives you his 10% one and the cube with 40 cells.[/sp]

It should be possible to store some data in RAM on a GB, have the user pull the cart and insert a different one. It probably wouldn't be entirely stable however. It's 100% possible on the DS/i since there are working tools that use it.
Hurrah! Alolan stuff in Pokemon Go! This is what you guys asked for, right?

FRLG would had been FAR better if they had Johto as the postgame, rather than the Dead End islands that may have an underleveled Johto 'mon per "route". And turning Lugia and Ho-Oh into "event" Pokemon is ridiculous. I completed the Pokedex in Gold first, then in Yellow (as I got it after Gold, when I was about to complete the Gold Pokedex). And, while I managed to complete the Hoenn Dex in Ruby and lol the Kanto Dex in FR, I didn't complete another National Dex until fucking Platinum in 2010 (GTS is a blessing). We should never have to endure something as obnoxious as gen III Pokedex completion.

Oh, so we're just going to put [sp]Necrozma's new form[/sp] right out in the open now, huh?
It's been on the official art since the beggining tho... And it hasn't really been unveiled tho. The top tier music, on the other hand, is finally public.
I gotta say, as a daily player, I am so fucking sick of how Niantic is handling GO
- Major updates and improvements happening once a blue moon. - Still no trading and PvP battles. - Game still unoptimized as fuck with constant server and game crashes GG Niantic!

[sp]Is Totem Gumshoos/A. Raticate version exclusive? I remember seeing an exclusives chart showing Lurantis and Salazzle, but not those two. I'd like to have a big fat rat.[/sp]

There's new USM TCG mats and sleeves, mostly just Cynthia and Volker, but this caught my eye. [t]https://i.imgur.com/BEzXpkV.jpg[/t]
So how have people leaked full game spoilers? Do people already have the game
So how have people leaked full game spoilers? Do people already have the game
Someone from NA got a review copy, ignored the NDA and uploaded Ultra Moon, then a few days after someone from Italy got a broken street release copy of Ultra Sun.
Someone from NA got a review copy, ignored the NDA and uploaded Ultra Moon, then a few days after someone from Italy got a broken street release copy of Ultra Sun.
Jesus that is actually insane
Jesus that is actually insane
It's happened with every major 3DS title released in the last year and a half. With how trivial it is to dump (technically make) and install .cia's (3DS game installers) these days it's no surprise either. With leaked games there's a risk of getting console banned if you go online (kinda obvious tbh) but that's also pretty easy to circumvent these days.
Puppy's online for the people who have the game in Europe and Australia. Also to evolve it between 5pm-5:59pm that goes off your 3DS clock, so even if it's nighttime in Ultra Moon you're still good.
Someone from NA got a review copy, ignored the NDA and uploaded Ultra Moon, then a few days after someone from Italy got a broken street release copy of Ultra Sun.
Did the Pokémon Company give a review copy to the same guy who uploaded the Superstar Saga remake? If so, I am surprised NoA didn’t share who it was with the Pokémon Company.
Did the Pokémon Company give a review copy to the same guy who uploaded the Superstar Saga remake? If so, I am surprised NoA didn’t share who it was with the Pokémon Company.
Not sure, I haven't looked into it at all and it was just the story I was told. [editline] [/editline] For the people who have a copy of Ultra Sun, make sure to pick up Ho-oh. For whatever reason it gets Burn Up, which it can't normally learn and doesn't get it via a Tutor. Lugia gets Skill Swap as well but it's not as special since it can learn that via Move Tutor.
Spoilers: [sp]Necrozma's Ultra form is one of my favorite legendary designs[/sp]
Welp, had to buy digital after all cause it was storming
