I had to cheese that fight as well. Not by using a Zoroark, but by poisoning it in general. Half of my team were shitmons since I wanted to use different Pokemon this time around, so things were tough at points.
Same for the Kommo-o totem, which was much more difficult this time around. It would've been easier if I kept the Ribombee or Comfey I was using, but I swapped those two out for a Shiinotic.

It's easier to just make a save backup than to do all that Bank nonsense. If GF doesn't want people to use external programs maybe they should have better fucking systems in place. But while we're on the subject of save files, the Switch separates saves by profile, so how it that going to work when Gen 8 rolls around? It's clear that the lack of save files has always been a way for Game Freak to force their human shaped money dispensers to buy the game twice, so will they convince Nintendo to only allow one save per Switch or will they just have to deal?

The first competition was announced as well, and in the same vein as the first one for Sun and Moon (Kanto Dex vs Alola Dex), this one is Johto Dex vs Alola Dex with Double Battle rules. Transfers are allowed so the Pokemon from the VC releases of Gold and Silver can participate.
