electric/flying pidgeot line variants
“this variation uses their taser-like claws to stun seafaring prey. their sky-blue belly helps to prevent them being noticed from below.”
It's almost as if they shouldn't have fucking given up on variants
I want a generation of just variants and mega evolutions.

Honestly I'd love if they did DLC expansions or updates for Pokemon Switch that add regions alongside adding pokemon.
Same. I wonder if it's an AI quirk if you send out a defensive pokemon first, because my first against it was Mudsdale.
From playing battle subway etc. I've noticed that a recurring theme with npc AI is they'll calculate if you can one shot them (and they'll cheat for this, they know your moves), and if you can't they'll just set up forever, which means you can manipulate them a lot by e.g. setting up yourself, statusing them, letting it boost and KO your mon then kill it with priority etc...
The boost AI is pretty easy to predict once you learn the patterns. I like to set up maximum hazards when they start doing dumb stuff, then whirlwind with skarmory etc.

7/10, no Wailord and Spinda to go with U.Necrozma and 100% Zygarde.

How do you sleep at night when you post stuff like this?
I won against the Totem Ribombee because it kept using Quiver Dance even though it probably could've one-shot my 'mons easily.
Bugger got greedy.
I won because I let Quagsire use Haze on it's first turn so it basically turns into a regular Ribombee. Then I switched to swellow and all I needed was one Brave Bird.

Why bother if it's not to scale? :frown:

Why would Spinda be significant?
Why would Spinda be significant?
only thing that really makes spinda special is the spot rendering, but that depends on how they're doing it as to if it impacts framerate or not

I feel like the best way to make a Wailord plush would be to make it a body pillow.

Wow Gardevoir doesn't translate to a plushie well.
Top Lel on the other hand looks absolutely spot on.
What's USUM's GTS trade mon? For S/M I used castform to fill my dex quickly.
Which of these is better? Rate [img]https://facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] for left, for right.

Trying to decide which piece of clothing to dye dark green. I'm leaning toward the skirt.
i'm pretty unhappy with ultra moon
as far as i've gotten - i've just cleared the 3rd island - there are very few changes and some of them make the game worse than it was before (the new stupidly chatty and demeaning rotom dex being a primary example.) not to mention gen 7 is eminently less replayable than previous games in the series due to their huge focus on gameplay-interrupting cutscenes, which ultra sm only makes worse through the bolted-on addition of the ultra dimension people subplot. many problems that bogged down the first game weren't fixed; double battles still lag horribly and some z crystals are just lying around with practically no pomp or circumstance. and from what i've heard, there isn't even a battle frontier!
i could forgive sun and moon's flaws the first time around since in a lot of ways they were really well made and a breath of fresh air, but now it's just going through the motions. i wasn't expecting a completely new game or anything, as it had only a year's worth of development time, but this really goes beyond the pale! it doesn't feel like these sequels were made to provide a comprehensive, updated experience based in the same region, like crystal, emerald, or platinum, but instead to cash in on the existing game and exploit collectors/people who need move tutors. does anyone else share my disappointment?
To be fair the double battle things wouldn't improve no matter how many games it takes without some serious cuts being made. The 3DS is straining enough as is

N3DS with no lines patch runs pretty much perfectly in doubles. That's basically the only cut that needs to be made.
Seriously what the fuck did they do with Rotom Dex this game?
I enjoy how it's more interactive now and the little q&a it does is a cute gesture, but who the fuck thought it was a good idea to spout protips every 2 minutes that you've read a dozen time over. The "ha ha I know you didn't ask for it but..." phrase it adds on makes it worse because they know it's annoying yet kept it in without any way of turning it off or adding and removing tips over time to be relevant to the players current state in the story.
Plus Roto Lotto is a waste if my fucking time because I have to stop for another 10 seconds every few minutes to get rid of the flashing eyes and play the drawn out bastardizing of the O Powers from gen 6.
At least the little tap animations are cute
I find it very creepy specially when it gets sad when you don't tap it every 2 minutes. The cute animations were in the original Sun/Moon but that was not, US/UM literally guilt-trips you into interacting with Rotom.

There's a lot of new and nice little touches that I loved (Like the last trial) but otherwise yeah, they could've done a lot more, and stuff like the shoved-in Ultra Squad in some cutscenes feels extremely jarring
Wouldn't it be annoying to be bothered by some spacesuit people while you are enjoying yourself in virtual Hawaii?

My favorite new feature is the one where, immediately after manually saving my game, Rotom recommends that I save my game since I haven't done it in a while. Good on Game Freak to make sure people double-save their game, improving the integrity of their save data bits!
It appears adverts for Go on the iWatch store have some new faces.

I can't wait for that Halloween update :v:
Only 50 of the new Hoenn Pokémon will be available at the start
What a joke

I'm more excited for the addition of weather, which is a nice surprise. Hopefully abilities get added with the rest of the Hoenn bunch.
[B]Update arrives in two parts: new Pokémon this week, weather later this month.

Nothing really surprising here. All of them save the Slakoth family are pretty popular.
9 for the Starter lines
3 for Salamence
3 for Aggron
3 for Slakoth
2 for Zigzagoon
2 for Electrike
3 for Ralts
6 for Shiftry/Ludicolo
2 for Plusle and Minun
2 for Absol and Mawile
5 for Wurmple
2 for Skitty
2 for Gulpin
2 for Zangoose and Seviper
2 for Wailmer
2 for Poochyena
1 for Groudon
No Kyogre though, so what the fuck. No Castform either, pretty weird to not see it as they're adding the weather.

To be fair i actually don't mind how they're releasing later gen Pokemons.
What i hate about PokeGO is the pacing and timing they're releasing important updates that can improve it.
Groudon but not Kyogre? The fuck is that?
And where is my Metagross? That thing will be a godsend... Oh well, Gardevoir is in, so Fairies will rule supreme now.
no agg don't even bother
