Can Slow Start be immediately nullified with Mist at all?
Slow start can be nullified by anything that replaces the ability. Skill swap, mummy, so on.

This is only partially true. Slow Start's effects are applied upon switching in and persist even if it is replaced. You need to switch in and out after replacing it if you don't want to wait.
IIRC that's only the case in Gen IV.

No, Slow Start doesn't work with the stage system.
Z-Psych Up can help you stall out those Slow Start turns if you don't mind giving up your Z crystal for a one-time burst recovery. Plus you might be able to pull off some hella jive if you do manage to copy stats.
why did game freak give regigigas slow start anyhow? it's not like it would be amazing for a legendary even if it had pressure or whatever
It would be bulkier, hit harder, and be faster than the version mascots of gens III-VII. They were aiming for a legendary Slaking, but didn't really manage to pull it off. Too much of a drawback of an ability.

Y'all might wanna check in at your local McDonald's, each store in my franchise at least(Cornwall and Devon) are gonna be auctioning off the pokemon display with one of each toy/card and posters for the RMHC charity once the next happymeal promotion is going.

Edit: Woops double post
I ended up going past what looks like Series 3 of those not-LEGO set things and saw this.

The way the generational power creepy goes, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Regigigas a new ability next gen. We already have things like Mega Rayquaza and Ultra Necrozma and Arceus, so why bother hurting Regigigas?

Nanu's got a fucked up nose. Acerola's Mimikyu is pretty cute though.

everytime gamefreak buffs a shitmon the next subsequent generation of their family is cursed with a near-incurable potato-like skin rash
buffing 10 pokemon that don't need a buff is the only precaution
I believe Crystal VC is out for everyone. Supposedly if you go to Goldenrod's Pokemon Center and leave after beating Lance the first time you get the GS Ball, which will unlock Celebi.
The notification says the release date has passed and to launch it, but if I launch it, it tells me to wait for the release date, what.

Oh it isn't out for another 2 hours here according to the E-Shop. My system clock was wrong.
If you submerge a Rowlet in deep water, does that make it a bathosphere?

Took me longer to get the portal to the right world than to reset for it, then Synchronize didn't take and got a Serious one. I don't really know if I should be disappointed since it's a neutral nature and stats I can work with (Perfect for Speed, Sp. Att and Sp. Def, 30 for HP, Att and Def)

Not sure about those Pokemon renders.

what the fuck did they do to Pancham

Now that you say it, 3D adaptations sometimes carries mistakes, but to be honest and as far as this scaled image can tell, I don't find this one bad (yet).
The detailed eyes are a nice touch.

Kind of a waste of Stephen Fry and the guy that did the score for the Planet Earth movie, but whatever I guess.

HP DV was 8, Attack Dv was 7. Granted I wimped out and used a duplicated Master Ball on it, but fuck it, sweet onion fairy acquired.
So, do you think this would make those 3 more interesting or relevant?
Or, while we are at that, what about this?
I don't think the Primal weathers should block two types.
P. Kyogre - Water/Electric, Primordial Sea blocks Ground type moves with flavor text something along the lines of "The Ground-type attack saturated/became sodden in the harsh rain!"
P. Groudon - Stays as is.
This way, they're on more equal terms. Also, giving Kyogre Hurricane and Groudon Solar Blade might be overkill. They're too good as is.
For Mega Fug, making it hold an item is good. But Hurricane without Rain would be bad, unless you extend Hurricane's accuracy check to be supported by Delta Stream.
They are just flavor coverage, they do have better options anyway, but wouldn't be out of place. Remember that both Groudon and Rayquaza can learn Thunder, and IIRC Rayquaza can learn Sunny Day and Rain Dance.

Hurricane wouldn't even let POgre hit that much more than it already can with Ice Beam. It's basically just Mega Venusaur and two shit Arceus formes (Bug/Fighting).
Solar Blade is a near useless move for PDon. You can't ever click it if the other team has an POgre/Airlocker because you just die to the switch. Ground Arceus can come in and force you out just the same as before. Mega Slowbro will still stall you out. Water Arceus will have a harder time stalling you out unless it comes in on a weak hit.
Is the ORAS Steven fight much more interesting than the one in R/S?
Is the ORAS Steven fight much more interesting than the one in R/S?
His Pokemon are the same, but are a little stronger, have updated moves, and his Metagross can mega-evolve instead of just having a Sitrus berry.
[editline]6th February 2018[/editline]
On the topic of ORAS, anyone else feel like the XY/ORAS style of the game was superior to Sun/Moon's? Sun/Moon's world didn't feel big or expansive enough to have full-sized models, yet. But Gen6's chibi world models felt a lot better and made a lot more sense to me. I liked that set up better, while I feel like the full-sized models don't add too much.
the chibi world models made sense to convey the "scale" of the route and towns, and served as a clear transition between battle and explore mode. The full-size models aren't so bad, but like you said it would be nice to upscale the overworld as well.
