Alola is small as fuck, on top of that.
Alola is small as fuck, on top of that.
The more I think about S/M and Alola in general the more I realize that this game has the least content and depth since RBY. We got spoiled by GSC's two regions, by Hoenn's Pokemon contests, and by Sinnoh's post-game. Kalos didn't have much content either, but at least it had more variety imo.

Hell, I would have liked to see a massive PWT in Alola with Elite 4 joining in, or a post-game Gym system (and finally get a Dark type Gym). Post game, it's just Battle Tree, and wormhole farming, along with other crap. Hell, they could have made the Elite 4 and challengers even harder, with a full team that has both Z-Move and (maybe if it's allowed) mega evolution.
The new OP and ED started today, although very little happened in the actual episode. Only worthwhile thing. [t]https://i.imgur.com/Ygco8iy.jpg[/t]
I just wished the ultra city place had more in it.

It was a damn cool episode. Buzzwole was badass, gives me high hopes for the rest of this...arc? I'm still a little pissed they haven't done more trials or anything to do with Team Skull.
I can't believe Pikachu's fucking dead
That's like, DBZ levels of smash.

I am amassing a collection of Eevee plushies, I'll end up with barely any room for them if they continue to pop up

Barry was always so hyper, dude needs a chill pill.
Barry was always so hyper, dude needs a chill pill.
He did want to be better than you, though. And his team was pretty good, too.
He also made a good case for why you shouldn't mix coffee and Red Bull.
They should've called Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 "Pokémon Gray" and "Pokémon Grey"
Looks like this is Shuffle's last big update. Stage 700 is Primal Kyogre, and S ranking all stages unlocks the final Expert stage, Primal Groundon. There's still a bunch of Pokemon that will be in the special stages, mostly winkers, Ultra Beasts and shinies.
I knew Gen I was a glitchy mess before watching this, but the glitch that begins happening at around the 9 minute mark is probably the most I've been dumbfounded by a Gen I glitch in a while.

So when it has been used 255 times its usage underflows and cannot be used anymore. While this is another one of those "lolGen1" bugs the fact that Struggle has to be used that many times by a single Pokemon for it to happen is such an unlikely occurrence it's one of the more forgivable bugs.

[t]https://serebii.net/corocoro3182.jpg[/t] Lugia is the center of the next film. Few didn't see that coming.
so my university email is being deleted in four weeks and I guess that means my Pokémon GO account that I’ve poured two years of daily play and who knows how much money into will just vanish because after all this time Niantic hasn’t implemented the ability to change emails associated with an account. I’m honestly so livid right now
Are they honestly remaking adventures now? i'm sure making a movie with Sun & Moon Ash and his classmates would be a mess anyway, but at least come up with something original
I just assumed that it was a consequence of going at Precure-speeds with the short time turnout between ORAS and SM. unfortunately Nintendo also sprung the Switch onto them, so USUM could barely add anything new without disrupting Game Freak's plans. They could have done something like have the Ultra Beasts for movies, but meh, they needed them for the anime since apparantly defeating Kahunas isn't that much important this time round. having a region set in Hawaii really limits what kind of plot they could even have for movies, even more so depending on what characters to even use. 3/4 characters are a stable size, but it doesn't help that anyone who isn't either Ash, Sophocles or Kiawe only has 1 Pokemon on hand, probably hard to even have any footage not showing evolutions without spoiling plots in advance. Its either a combination of implausibility for movie destinations, legendaries involved (they already spent Magearna, just to promote Volcanion, and it's not like they're going to use the Tapus, again anime territory. Marshadow....somehow it gets a Z-stone but debuted in a movie where there are none present), or they're gaming on movies focusing on Alternate!Ash to pull back some box office revenue that more recent movies has been lacking. Also, box office grossing. the 20th movie made 22m~ dollars in 5 weeks within Japan alone...that's slightly above Hoopa's movie, though some of the older movies may have had domestic airings which could have moved the gross up. but after the low amounts from the XY movies, it's no wonder they had to cool things down. Gen 1: 2 Movies, 297.59m dollars. Gen 2: 3 movies, 117.3m Dollars. Gen 3: 4 movies (counting Lucario. which made almost 3m dollars over Deoxys at 37.1m) 131.7m dollars Gen 4: 4 movies (also counting Zoroark), 207m dollars. Zoroark grossed 21m more dollars than Arceus at 71.1m. Gen 5: 3 (or 4?) movies, 135.5m dollars, Victini made 11m more dollars than Keldeo, however it was 2 movies...so it's disputable, even at 57.08m dollars. Gen 6: 3 movies...again, Diancie gets 4.7m over Hoopa at 26.7m dollars. Only citing this for the reference in box office gross, whilst the 20th movie's is inside its own article. some other website cited it as over 2m dollars...but that could just be domestic, and not foreign market amounts. Bulbapedia mentions only the first 5 movies leaving in Japan for theaters, movie 14 (Victini - Black, had limited release in the US), apparently after that, the series was big enough again in Australia/New Zealand before airing in the US. Movie 20 had limited theater runs outside of japan before it aired on TV. if Wikipedia is also counting domestic+Japanese gross, i'd be worried, especially when compared to the years when movies didn't leave Japan besides television. Seems like the trend is that Pokemon movies generally shows big sales within either the first movie of a generation, or if there's significant push for characters. (in Zoroark and Lucario's case). Lucario was to a significant degree, an outlier. simply because of the time between initial reveal and when a movie actually featured Pokemon from their generation, like Manaphy just being little over 2 months before Diamond/Pearl came out in 2006 (Japan) and Lucario being 2005. EDIT: DP is the only generation to have movies make progressively more money each year, so that's a thing.

So, in regards to "Pokemon, I Choose You!" movie, I have a question. [sp]How come Luxray fucking died, despite the fact that Gengar got FROZEN SOLID in the fucking intro, but that's fucking alright and a-okay? Like, either way, the pokemon I assume is frozen throughout, so there isn't as much difference between different being frozen to death?[/sp]

Do Dusk Balls work in the Distortion World? Does the Giratina there have a recoil move?
