Probably super well done fakes because it's super early for Gen VIII to be a thing already but part of me wants them to be real, that platypus is super adorable and I love the lemur too
I don't care how fake it is or isn't, that fire rabbit is [i]adorable[/i].
The different styles of Japanese isn't necessarily a given sign that they're fake. Hell, that only makes things more complicated because if they do happen to be fake, the artist did an excellent job at nailing down such a small detail that is each piece being possibly written by different people.
I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if these were real. And if they're fake, kudos to the artist.

Maybe I misremembered, but isn't Pokemon Switch supposed to be Gen 8, anyway? And I think they were aiming to have it released this year- could be absolutely wrong though.
Kinda unrelated, but have they ever had a "design your own Pokemon" challenge? With 7 generations and 20yrs, it's weird to think that there aren't any official fan-mon.

At the latest investors meeting they were aiming for 2018, but was listed as "or later"

i think there was an unofficial one that took place on some tv sweepstakes when i was younger
i remember designing an evolution for roselia long before gen 4 was a thing, but i never submitted it to the contest

This made me so butt hurt seeing it because it reminded me how much I disliked Sun/Moon's characters.
Lillie I can totally understand, and she had actual development, watching her gain courage throughout the story. Gladion? Awful. He's Shadow the Hedgehog, but instead of being "So bad its funny" or "edgy yet cool" he's just bad and edgy. His only good moment was when you walk into his hotel room and he says "Get out." He never felt like "Team Skull Gladion," and it felt... Forced. I have [I]no[/I] idea why Moon is up there, since the playable character is always a hollow husk to where when people see [sp]Lusamine turn into a tentacle Ultra Beast monster[/sp] and everyone is freaking out, while you're standing there like :downs:. Lana fished, that's her only trait. She has nothing going for her. Acerola had some interaction, at least.
Guzma being at 6 surprised me so much. IMO the best villain boss yet. Nanu was also probably the best captain/kahuna, yet, too. And Hau to me was a two-dimensional walking anime trope: determination and hunger.
Now that I'm done saying how much I disliked Sun/Moon's characters, I'm gonna go back and continue playing Sun/Moon, because damn I wanna see what happens in Ultra Megalopolis.

Before you get any hopeful ideas remember these, like the other collections, cost 19,440 yen or about 180 dollars.
Just search Etsy and make the collection yourself for a fraction of the cost.
