Preordered Detective Pikachu with prime, a few weeks ago.
To then check my orders today expecting it to be dispatched.

But nope, they pushed it back a day without informing me. Went onto Support chat, said it's cause of "Stock Issues". If there is stock issues, how am I gonna receive it on Saturday?
Then they gave me £5 promotional credit. If they hadn't already taken the money, I'd have cancelled it and bought it from a local store tomorrow.
Amazon pushed my order back, again. To 5th of April.

Cancelled the order, then ordered it from Argos with employee discount. Gonna cost me £1 more, but I can pick it up today and not have to wait 2 weeks.
I'm a lot more interested in living the pokemon world than the story or gameplay, but I'll wait a bit before deciding to get it.
I love worldbuildy things so that's what's kept me interested too, I think I'll pick it up soon. Unfortunately the human characters remind me of Knack's, which is not a flattering comparison.
Got a copy of the game and snagged a Detective Pikachu Amiibo too while I was at it. He's so HUGE. I love it.

This is what games used to like? Wow we've really come a long way!
I beat Detective Pikachu, what a fun ride. They obviously left a lot for a potential sequel, and I hope it gets it. It was an enjoyable time. The VOs were all great, some Pokemon had questionable ones(Except Burmy and Feebas, their animations for talking and the sounds they made had me in stitches).
And there wasn't one real trainer seen throughout the game, everyone was basically those background characters you speak to in every game ever, and it felt awesome.

It might be. I believe that's one of the water routes in Kanto.
I don't believe "leaks" of still images.
It's easy to photoshop something together then tilt and blur it up to hide the inaccuracies.
Making a fake video is very hard on the other hand.

Well even if that picture is a fake, it look cool.
I remember seeing a thing on Facebook a while back (month or two) that said rumours are GameFreak are going to reboot the series for Switch. So the fact that Steel thinks it's Kanto would line up with that. They were basing it off a tweet that got deleted. Take with a bucket of salt because I can't find the source link.
