At first sight that looks just like Sun/Moon but with random overworld pokemon being physically present on the route. Better run at 300 fps and 4K docked
Depends on whether it's a "reboot" in the modern game sense or a "resetting" like Generation III. Story-wise, it could use with a clean slate. While multiverses are cool and all like they're implied, they can spiral out of control very fast the longer it's allowed to grow.
Meh, just don't axe species and moves (in fact, keep building up both Megas and Z-Moves), and have more to the overworld than SM's tiny archipelago. Longer routes, dungeons and the like. I'll say it again, Kalos was wasted potential and we should have gotten Pokemon Z to finish off gen VI in 2015.
I doubt they would axe species and moves. There's so many well-known Pokemon outside the original 151 that people would be furious if they were removed. Here's hoping they do something more with Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves as you said. I want my 6-headed Mega Dodrio.
I'm personally wanting that the Switch entry to last a decent amount of time dependent on how they price it. I'd like if they go the Splatoon model of adding post game content over time or even going the BotW route of expansions. I don't want them to price it as 60 if the content isn't worth the price.
Why axe mons when they can just do more regional variants?
I hope it's fake because I kind of expected them to do a much bigger jump than just taking Sun/Moon as a starting point. It would be disappointing. And they should go for 30 FPS and focus on visuals since there is no point for turn based RPGs to be 60 FPS.
Well, seeing some regional variants felt like they were trying to phase out the original, I'd be concerned. Seriously, Raichu, Exeggutor and Marowak got variants that learn the same moves and then more. And Grimer and Diglett are pretty much the same but more. Some love for the original deals would be appreciated. At least give Shadow Bone to regular Marowak as well. (And Alolan Raichu should had been Mega Raichu, and the fact that it lacks a hidden ability just reinforces that.)
Only Gen5, first one wasn't really done (I kinda mulligan one pokemon 3 times there). Black 2 on the other hand, it was a bit of a pain, but I managed to do it blind mostly (basically done it first run).
I don't really care if they axe species but they should absolutely axe moves. Scald should have never existed.
Alolan Diglett/Dugtrio is just straight up worse than the normal variant though. Only places it sees usage are Ubers and LC where trapping isn't banned because without trapping it's nothing.
So, just like normal Dugtrio now that trapping is banned, but with a better typing and a worse speed tier...
I'm on Chapter 6... I think? It's a game for kids, could solve the cases with my brain shut down. The story isn't too intriguing but I'm pushing through it. But alas, it's a Pokemon game, and I love the idea of Pokemon being city animals living both as strays and pets, not just for blood sport.
Got the Entei from the April Legendary. I now have two level 100's while my starter is level 17.
Kinda pissed off I have to go to Target on the 22nd to pick them up, while all Europe has to do is pick them via Mystery Gift.
Better typing is debatable. Steel is a great type for its numerous resistances, but with bulk as paper-thin as Alolan Duggy, those resistances don't matter much, if at all. On top of that, it gives up a Grass and Ice weakness for Fire, Fighting, and Ground, which is arguably worse. Only reason to use my beautiful haired bois is if you're strapped for a Fairy-killer or you just love those silly locks as much as I do.
PAL: Here's 3 weeks to casually go into Mystery Gift and just redeem yourself an Entei/Raikou, no biggie. U.S.: You have one week to find a Target and get the code from. If there's no Target by you, good luck, bucko. What the actual hell.

Oh man I adore that Blastoise figurine.
Z-Moves were already done anyway. Since they're one move per type and that was the gimmick, I don't see anything else you'd get out of it. I imagine Z-Crystals will be given out in bulk to you by some NPC in the post-game, or worse, be locked to a generation. I'm worried Z-Crystals will end up in the same vein as Gems from Gen V. In fact, why is only a Normal Gem obtainable in Generation VII? Those items were pretty useful imo and it sucks that they just can't be used any more.
Don't forget a lot of berries being unavailable in gen 7 for whatever reason.
can't wait for all the people upset that it was just zeraora, because that's all it will be
They can do more Pokemon exclusive ones, which are always cool imo.
Man... Detective Pikachu, while cute, is really, really shallow and disappointing. The only good I can say about it is its representation of Pokemon's utility, like Nosepass being a compass, and Metang being airborne forklifts.
https://twitter.com/SerebiiNet/status/981902432149102593 The demo For Detective Pikachu released in both NA and Europe, so if you're unsure about it you can try this.

I'm still not sure what to think of Zeraora. It looks like the shiny palette of a Gen 4 fan creation.
Personally I love cat lucario
a companion for zoroark in the movie-mons-without-tails club
