One of my favourite shiny legendaries. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dd-SHeNUwAEvWNX.jpg
Why is it being released as far away from Christmas as it can be tho?
Was Pokemon Amie only useful for evolving Eevees into Sylveons and making weird screenshots?
Nah, it was also useful for breaking the game in half. And Refresh does that better.
Trading? Iffy. Transferring? If they shrug and say "impossible," then that's a new low for them.
Bank is supposed to be future proofed. Still, not being able to trade between games of the same generation would be a dumb decission, as it splits the player base in 2.
The Wii U had completely different problems than being ignored by the casual gamers. Remember the Wii? That was perfect for them and the success showed it. Also people complaining about the GO implementation really need to chill out. It's not like they are going to make the entire game like GO. I could see them simply taking the mechanics like seeing the Pokemon in the world and implementing them into the game. Or how catching Pokemon works. Instead of a fight, you can choose to directly capture it as a quick mechanic for weak pokemon.
dont think this means a whole lot but.. https://twitter.com/pokexperto/status/1000141133220073472
Misleading It lists Switch, and then they list their big brand names, which includes Pokemon and other titles that happen to be on Switch, and there's also Pokken that's on Switch. Not even worth a tweet.
Pokemon making a jump to Switch is pretty much confirmed since last year
You can now register your email for news on the Switch game. https://m.store.nintendo.co.uk/games/nintendo-switch/pokemon.list In my mind this will sate the hyped massed, but in my heart I know it's not true.
https://twitter.com/project_eevee/status/1000743691437395969 Project Eevee is teasing something for tomorrow.
If the rumour is to be believed, we would hear news this week.
ok in an event if the pikachu/eevee game is true who the fuck would pick pikachu
Depends on how the version exclusive Pokemon are split up, though I could see the younger side of the audience siding with Pikachu regardless.
I'd bet on Pikachu and Eevee getting new stuff like evolutions or something like megas. Could be the recent talk of Gorochu being cut being something in that direction of a split evolution.
Gorochu and the new Flying Eveelution.
For what we know, Pikachu and Eevee might not even be the starters. The closest the games have come to naming the games after the starters was back in first gen.
I like Raichu better than any Eeveelution, thank you. Even if Jolteon outclasses it in a way it isn't even funny, I've always been a fan of that giant overshadowed mouse.
I'd honestly welcome a break away from the pattern of "pick which legendary you want handed to you in the story that you'll never use beyond the Elite Four". "Pick a color, shit's different in both" is so much more interesting because we literally haven't been without box legends since Gen fucking One, so who even knows how that would play into the plot.
Also it'd be interesting to have a story that didn't rely on legendaries for the climatic mcguffin.
I am fed up with version exclusive legendaries; at least the Johto games allowed you to catch BOTH. But this trend of having more exclusive legendaries than exclusive families is annoying. NOBODY will do a Kyogre for Groudon trade, people want to have both.
A nice thing about Sun/Moon is that you could get both cover legendaries in one game. It just took a bit of grinding (mandatory griping about no battle chateau).
legendaries are nothing more than shiny baubles at this point. generation 1 is the only one that really handled them properly - you had to purposefully seek them out inside long, difficult dungeons, and they weren't explicitly advertised or mentioned. gen 2's roaming legendaries and gen 3's regi puzzles are also commendable, but in general the concept has been getting worse and worse.
Legendaries kinda benefit from having sidequests about them. And by sidequests I don't mean grindy minigames.
I think it was better in FRLG that Moltres was moved out of Victory Road and to Mt. Ember in the Sevii Islands. That way all three legendary birds were at the end of a dungeon/mini dungeon instead of Moltres being thrown haphazardly into Victory Road.
Cinnabar should have had a volcano dungeon from the get go tho.
It would be interesting if Eevee was the starter because it makes it important what you want to evolve your Starter Eevee into
It'd be interesting if, depending on the version you choose, you're either playing as the trainer who just moved to X town, or their rival who's working for/is related to Professor Tree.
Pokemon XD actually did start you with an eevee. Has anyone played XD? I've never heard of it outside of the wiki and I have no idea if it's any good.
