Someone will implement online trading sooner or later. You'll need to use someone elses servers and have CFW but it'll most likely get done.

Actually, the Japanese patch file already has that covered; it disables the Mobile Adapter menu from loading. It's definitely the latter reason. :v:

By the way, it's been reported that Mystery Gift actually works on GSC VC. It uses the 3DS IR port and everything. It doesn't work with an original GBC, though.
This is both great and annoying to me. Great that we have it now, but annoying that none of the other GBC VC games up to this point had IR support. Several games can't be 100%'d on VC because of it.
Man, if it did work with the Original carts though the GBC IR Port, that would have been totally awsome.

I take it that they patched support for it into the ROM due to it breaking compatibility with the actual GBC hardware?
If it's actually just a VC header/footer flag then I'm kinda surprised it hasn't been found already. Then again we didn't know about 1mbit save support until a few weeks ago.

I've switched low level Pokémon multiple times but always get that or, rarely, just a white screen and a freeze. What am I doing wrong?

It has pretty good ones, really. Best HP, Attack, Sp. Def, and Def. Pretty good speed, but only "decent" Sp. Attack. Should I keep it?

You want 0/1 attack depending on the hp type you're after. If you don't care about hp type then 31/0/31/31/31/31 is going to be optimal.
Assuming this is the gen 7 event you can just RNG it without needing CFW. I can provide some guides if you need.

I don't like messing with HP and I'm just sticking to soft resetting and getting the mystery gift time and time again until tik I get it good. I'm mainly asking if that IV spread is decent enough, or "nah keep rolling." I don't really need ideal or perfect.

The set you want to run dictates which IV's are most important to you.

If you are renaming boxes for the shiny, the pokemon in first place needs another condition regarding EV's. (15 attack, 10 defense, 10 speed, 10 special)
In gen II the gender is determinated by the attack EV, which means there are a bunch of pokemon that can't be female and shiny at the same time with this glitch.
For genderless pokemon you can try again to reduce randomness, or use the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NADKp7PI2XY]item setup variant[/url]. Read the desription if you want to know why and how the Coin Case glitch works like that.

Yeah I'm not even bothering with all of this technical competitive stuff I just wanted to know if having slightly lower Sp.Atk. IVs would screw me over.
I guess you're asking if I'm running for a Sp.Attacker I should go for Sp.Atk IVs but that'd be obv and I'm not so obsessed that I'll keep resetting to get slightly better Sp.Atk. IVs. I'm just going to be using this for, like, maybe a bit of battle tower or to fight friends with, if I even follow through with it.
And I guess since I'm only getting super technical answers the answer is "yeah no you won't really notice a difference."

I have said for years that they will do it.
They already have with black and white 2 and ultra sun and moon
One of the next games will have fusion where you need to make the Pokemon hold an item and you use a devise to fuse them.
US Red and Blue are 19 today, Diamond and Pearl are 11.
DP are closer to the beggining of the franchise than to the present day.
